I only received this yesterday so obviously I don't have much experience with this product. Having been in a rollover accident less than a month ago (Dec 28, 2018) where I hung by my seatbelt for several minutes, unable to locate the knife my husband gave me, before a good Samaritan with a sharp instrument cut me loose, I wanted something easily reachable!! Only downside so far is I had a VERY difficult time getting the paper backing off the plate to attach it to my phone. Otherwise the magnet appears to be very strong. I'll update this review on a month or so, once I've had more experience with this product.

When coupled with the "ICONFLANG Magnetic Car Mount Phone Holder Air Vent Mount Wireless car Charger", this adapter allowed me to position the magnetic car mount/charger on the center console of my Tesla Model 3 next to the armrest, so it is within easy reach. So far it is holding up well on top of the 3M 1080 vinyl i wrapped the console with, but will see with time. Only thing I wish is that it came with a spare adhesive disk and was made out of metal and not all plastic.

It looks great. My phone case has kick stand. The doesn't fit well. If only they would extend the leg little bit longer it would be perfect.

My husband wanted to get seat belt cutters in case of emergency and after searching amazon, I came across these. We both love how multifunctional these are and how nice it looks in the car. When we drive other passengers, they always notice and ask what it is. We even bought another set to gift our family. There wasn't any issues with our first set - got two test pieces of different colors that was inside the original packaging in each one. But the second set we bought for family came with one tester made of rubber in each one, and only one glass tester that was outside of the original packaging just tossed inside the mailer. It was very odd. The magnets that were included seemed very thin. Surprisingly, it held up a large phone like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Although I've noticed it shakes around quite a bit, but the phone hasn't been dropped yet.

Ever since I saw an episode on southern survival that tested the window breaking devices, I've been looking for this. I got the phone holding ones for most of my family and the USB charging one for ones who already had a phone holder. I really appreciate that they came with test targets to ensure that they worked out of the box. Best multi use life saving device. Everyone should have one.

I think this is a wonderful idea because it is definitely something you should keep within reach at all times, and it should stay exactly where you put it so you can find it in the dark. My problem with it is that the vents in my car won’t work right if this is inserted. (I havre Foresters, 2005 and 2015 ) Fortunately they also have a Plus model that plugs into the cigarette lighter/outlet. It is handy and has two USB ports. I give the Plus five stars

The push to lock feature on the spider takes a bit of force, but once it's in my phone feels secure. The mechanism that attaches to the vent is small enough so it actually stays put, previously cheaper options weren't so firm.

Mine came broken and in pre-opened packaging which isn't okay at all during this pandemic. The metal piece in the spring loaded window breaker was detached from the spring so the metal piece would rattle back and forth inside. The vent attachment wouldn't work with my 2017 Chevy Cruze because of the metal piece built in to move the vents around. The placement of my vents also would not have allowed me to seen the phone screen for navigation but that's not really on the product, just something to think about before purchasing. The glue would get too hot and would be stuck on my dash but the phone mount would fall off of the glue spot which was fine for about a week and a half but then it got too weak to keep re-attaching so the whole thing became useless. I will say that the seat belt cutter seemed fine, it came with a cover to avoid accidental cuts. I have no idea if it was sharp enough to cut a seat belt quickly though. The large square magnet kept the phone secured to the phone mount except a couple times when I made some harsh turns but that was probably more on my driving than the product.
