  • Complete Trash. DOES NOT hold in place at all (BUT read to the end - there IS a FREE solution!!!)
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
PLEASE for your own sake, read to the end of this review. While this device doesn't work, there is a completely free method that is VERY easy to do at the end of this. No gimmick, no videos to watch, no specific products to buy (you very well might not need anything at all other than what you sleep on at home already, just a certain technique to stop snoring). Just a fellow snorer helping you out. To start, this product here is like a children's gag toy. It has absolutely nothing on it to attach it to your teeth. You put it in your mouth, and move your jaw around even the slightest bit, it falls right out. It even uncomfortably jams the corners against your gums as it moves out of place as well. The ONLY way this could be the slightest bit useful is if you used this in conjunction with a chin strap, to keep you from opening your mouth at all. But then, that defies the whole point of it being able to open and close. You might as well buy one where the top and bottom are just secured to each other. They do have a "Zquiet advance" mouthguard that is decent. Works MUCH better than this thing, FAR better. Only problem with that one is if you're a mouth-breather when you sleep (which most people that snore are), if you open your mouth too much with this device, your jaw will swivel back, and it won't help at all. No idea why they designed it the way they did (the arm attachment for the top should be towards the front, and the arm for the bottom should be towards the back of the bottom guard). Again, it's a good idea to use this one with a chin strap as well if you know you tend to open your mouth while sleeping. Sadly, with how hit or miss these types of things are, this is one of the two best ones I found to date. There's two swivel ones like this that have the right idea, but both of them have the same issue when they swivel back (and allow the lower jaw to swivel all the way back, closing off the airway). ------- *** One other note - this overall technique works VERY well for me, although it won't work so well for those that move around in their sleep. Use a device like this, but also, get a wedge pillow (about a 7.5" one to elevate your entire upper body; helps keep the tongue from falling back into the throat), and then a memory foam pillow to place on top of the wedge (for head/neck support). The reason I suggest a memory foam pillow is because of the steep edges on the sides. What you want to do is lay on your side, and turn your head slightly downward off the edge of the pillow. It takes some getting used to, and you might drool at first until you get the angle just right. One thing that I saw suggested that helps is to hold a pillow between your arms/legs. It causes your body to lean into it, thereby naturally causing your head to tilt downward a bit. By tilting your head slightly downwards like that, when your tongue relaxes, it falls towards the front of your throat, thereby preventing it from blocking your airway. Since I started doing this, for the first time ever, I have absolutely NO snoring at night at all anymore. Recorded three nights straight - not even a slight snore once. It was so quiet I thought it might not even be recording, until I heard myself get up at night to go to the bathroom (I would say I'm getting up and going to the bathroom, so that I wouldn't wonder if it was noise I was making while sleeping). Those were the only times I ever even made a peep, and I used to snore so loud the whole house could hear me. So again, mouthguard to push it forward, 7.5" pillow wedge, memory foam pillow, and sleep on your side with the head tilted slightly downward off the edge of the pillow. ... show more

  • Life saver
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
This is the second one of these I've bought for my husband, and I think it's safe to say we'll keep re-purchasing them forever. From day 1 it was clear that this was a game changer. His snoring was 98% gone, and has been for the past year. We can both tell when he doesn't wear it - I'm kept up at night, and he doesn't sleep as soundly. Sure, it's not the most comfortable thing - his teeth took a while to get used to it (the front ones are a little crooked, so don't fit perfectly in the mold) - but it's far better than other, more rigid models he tried. ZQuiet recommends replacing these retainers every 6-12 months, and we found that after about a year, his snoring was starting to slip back in here and there. The hinges do wear out somewhat, so it's a good idea to replace the device periodically. We got a great deal on Black Friday and will probably buy again around the same time next year. Highly recommend, especially with their return policy - you have nothing to lose, and potentially a lifetime of better sleep to gain! ... show more

  • Did not work for me
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
I'm going to do my best to give this product an overall review. First, the price was not terrible as compared to other snoring mouthpieces. It took me several days to get used to the it but I liked that it wasn't so big and bulky. I've tried others that won't let me close my mouth and that's annoying. According to my husband, the mouthpiece drastically reduced my snoring and I was excited about that! That said, the plastic is hard and sharp on the edge and rubs against the bottom inside of my gums, which was very painful. But, since the device was working I decided to modify it by cutting a tiny piece from the part that was rubbing my gums. Well, it stopped rubbing my gum but unfortunately it didn't fit snug as before so it fell out at night. That was a bust and totally on me. Nonetheless, if the plastic hadn't been so hard, I believe, it would have worked for me. I was pretty bummed. It's very hard to find a mouthpiece that isn't too bulky, especially for a woman. Search continues. ... show more

  • Unsatisfactory product
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
This product is one more on my list of products in which they have made me feel scammed and I have wasted my money. I had not even had it in my mouth for 5 minutes when I already felt intense pain in my lower jaw and burning in my gums, the product has very hard edges and hurts the gums, my teeth still hurt after I removed the product from my mouth, I wonder if this product was really tested before launching it on the market, because it seems more like a punishment instead of a solution to my snoring problem, I know that they will not return my money, but I do want to express that there is no way I would buy this product again, recommending buying this product every 4 months, I feel it more like a mockery than a recommendation, I am very sorry for the sincerity, but maybe you will consider a little the comments about the dissatisfaction of many of us who have bought your product so that you can improve it and maybe in the future it will really be worth buying and it really works. ... show more

  • Didn’t work for me
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
Bought these based off reviews. Could be just me, but did not notice a real change in snoring. It was one of the more comfortable mouth guards I did try though. Still had the uncomfortable feeling that it was pushing my teeth forward, but again that could just be me fighting it in my sleep. Tried for about 3 weeks, just couldn’t get used to it. ... show more

  • It works
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
I’ve been trying plenty of alternatives to decrease my annoying snoring. I think I’m driving my boyfriend to his wits end listening to me at night lol. I tried nose strips and nasal expander, the uncomfortable pillow (which is also actually helpful), and another mouth guard. The other mouth guard was effective when on, but highly uncomfortable and when I took it off my teeth would ache and my jaw would pop around for a little while which made me a little nervous. I looked a lot and like the appeal of the Zquiet not forcing my jaw open. I did think perhaps that would make it be less effective but it hasn’t thus far been. I put it in about 10-15min before I go to sleep. I do have to take it out 1-2x before I fall asleep to swallow the initial increased saliva in my mouth. I can move my jaw open and closed, and the guard is labeled ‘upper’ for those of us whom can’t always figure out the obvious. I use a snore app just to torture myself when I wake up by listening to how I slept and how much I snored. The 1st time I wore it the majority of my sleep, then woke up a couple hours before my alarm went off and took it out. I noticed on my app that the whole time it was in it didn’t pick up any snoring, then the snoring it did pick up after I took it out was decreased. I work night shift so on my work week I think I sleep a little harder and I’ve only had this a few days, all happen to be after I’ve been on shift. I see that as long as it’s in my snoring is either stopped or extremely decreased, but it seems I find it easy in my sleep to remove it as well. My teeth haven’t been sore at all with this one. My jaw has been a little sore and ‘loose’ feeling right when I take it out, but no where as bad as with my SnoreRX. Overall I feel like this may be a good solution for me, maybe not a miracle answer, but a great help!! I recommend it :) ... show more

  • Worked amazingly well
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
I was told that I get no sleep because I snore all night. I wanted to try something but had little expectation that this would work. But I read the reviews with results from a snore app and thought it was worth a try. I also chose it because it is made in the USA. The first night I used it my lower gums were a bit sore and irritated. So I skipped 2 days and used it again. It was better that night and my husband said I snored very little. I was traveling and used it intermittently. When I got home I used the app to see if there was really a difference. The first night I used only a nose strip. You can see how much snoring there was. The next night I used the mouthpiece and you can see on the chart almost no snoring. The following night I thought the app had failed but it recorded all night and there was no snoring. I am amazed at the difference and will continue to use this every night. It does take some getting used to, but it is well worth it. My suggestions are to warm it well in warm water before use. If it irritates your gums skip a day or 2. Either my mouth got used to it or it adapted to my mouth. You may get dry lips so use some product for that. This is a product I will continue to use. Update- it may not effect everyone the same way, but it began to move my teeth and my bite changed so I stopped using it. But it was helping a lot with snoring. ... show more

  • Low quality and doesn't work well. Find another solution.
Size: Comfort 1 Mouthpiece Color: Clear
Feels like a late stage capitalism play here, where they are just after your money and provide little value. Upon opening the product, you can tell it costs about a dollar to make, given how cheap it feels. The device is small for the mouth (and I'm pretty sure I have a "normal size" mouth). I tried using it for a week and it keeps popping out of my mouth while I'm asleep. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and have the joy of trying to find it. It also puts uncomfortable pressure on top front teeth. It is quite uncomfortable for many reasons. I'd recommend buying another if you're going this route. ... show more
