I was skeptical at first but for my mental health I need to keep my phone out of the bedroom which meant I needed an alarm clock but I haven’t had one in at least 10 years. I did a lot of research and was very intrigued by a fancy alarm clock that shall not be named but I couldn’t justify $170 and a subscription just to use it. I chose this one over the others because the fabric covering the digital time screen helps eliminate the blue light effects that others have and I liked that it is dimmable. I also found this one to be very cute as some of the other sunrise clocks I think are really ugly. This clock is easy to use, I love all the settings, it’s loud but gentle. I find that I tend to wake up before the alarm goes off because of how bright it is, which is fantastic since I no longer jolt awake. The snooze button will turn the light back on as well as the sound which is fantastic. The price is absolutely worth it for what you get even though it can seem hard since you can get cheapo clocks for $15, but your sleep and mental health is worth it, I promise.

I really like the sound options. I use white noise to sleep and its great to have a combo white noise machine and alarm. For me, the volume of the white noise gets plenty loud. And it’s pretty easy to adjust the alarm. The light up function I find quite helpful in the mornings. My one pet peeve is the white noise stops when I snooze. But I should probably be waking up then anyway. Happy I went with this versus more pricey alarm/light/noise machine type combos.

Perfect in my massage room! Very aesthetically pleasing. Love the sound machine aspect. The lighting is perfect. Easy to set up and use. I purchased a second one for our guest bedroom and left the instruction manual in the night stand.

So form-wise it's 5 stars. I think it's a great shape. I love the linen-like fabric, very cool look. The "white" clock has a white cord but the clock is more cream, which I like. Function-wise it checks nearly every box. The display brightness is adjustable all the way down to off. There are different alarm sound options. The alarm brightness is also adjustable. In fact, even the time frame for how early the light comes on before the alarm is adjustable, so you can set it to start just 5 mins before the alarm which is a nice feature. It's easy to use and there's a back button if you go too far while setting the time (that's standard today but I remember days when you'd have to go all the way around again!) Two significant down sides-- the back up battery does keep the time and settings in place, but the alarm won't actually go off if you've lost power at that particular time. Hummm, the description made it seem like the battery back up was to still have the alarm go off. Major bummer I'd say. Also, when you snooze, the light goes off too. That kind of defeats the purpose of the light slowly waking you up if you can opt to turn if off for 9mins while in a sleepy state. I had a hard time finding anything that checked all the boxes for me, so I'll go with it, but I do wish it had those last two features. Overall it's a great clock and we'll designed.

I really like this alarm clock! I didn’t think I’d be excited for one as much as I am for this, but I really am! The sunlight feature to wake up is excellent as it slowly brightens before the alarm goes off mimicking sunrise. I do feel like I wake up with less abrupt, stressful awakening than with a regular alarm clock, which starts my whole day off so much more calmly and ensures a better day ahead! I also use it for the sleep sounds, which are excellent and high fidelity. All-around great purchase!

I bought this in lieu of the more expensive "brand name" alarm clock. I love it! It looks great and has so many customizable features. The alarm has many different sounds and you can set the volume level. There are a lot of buttons but it is relatively intuitive and becomes easier to memorize because some have raised dots that you can feel in order to navigate the clock without looking. The clock number brightness and various color settings are adjustable. It has a bunch of sounds in the sound machine too, so its easy to find one that suits you. Well worth the money spent and money saved.

I ended up giving this about 3 stars. The main issue I ran into is that sometimes the light wouldn’t work unless I unplugged it and plugged it back in, which got frustrating over time. That said, the idea behind the clock is really nice. It’s designed to simulate a sunrise to help you wake up more naturally instead of a loud alarm, and it also doubles as a sound machine with options like white noise and nature sounds. It also has adjustable brightness and multiple light colors, which is nice for setting the mood at night or using it as a bedside light. However, the execution wasn’t perfect for me. Along with the light issue, the controls can take a little getting used to, especially when half asleep trying to adjust settings. Some features also didn’t feel as smooth as expected, like the gradual light transition not always feeling very natural. Overall, it has good features on paper and could work well for someone looking for a budget-friendly sunrise alarm clock, but the inconsistency with the light was a downside for me.
