One of the best items I've ever spent money on. I was having trouble sleeping at one point, and for a while would turn the fan on in my bathroom and let it run all night, to provide white noise, and also to block out the repetitive sounds my senior dog makes lol. (For context, she is very old and had some teeth pulled, so she smacks her mouth and lips a lot. She also can get anxious sometimes and likes to lick her bed, apparently it helps soothe her. None of that is her fought and I don't hold it against her, but as you can imagine, the sounds are not the greatest thing to hear when trying to fall asleep haha.) Anyways, I'm a very worrisome person and I began to get paranoid that leaving my bathroom fan on all night could be a potential fire hazard. So I stopped using it and began looking into noise machines. I looked at so many different kinds and eventually settled on this one. It ended up being perfect and is everything I wanted, plus more. Some cool features: You can change the timer for how long it stays on, or set it to just run all night, which is my go to setting. If you do set a timer, the white noise it creates doesn't just stop suddenly, it slowly fades out so not to disturb your sleep, which I think is a really cool part of its design. The volume buttons are easy to locate and do exactly what they're supposed to do. It also has a plethora of different sounds to use. My most favorite is the sound of heavy rain fall. I also use the bathroom fan sound quite a lot as well. Another feature I like is that it doesn't have a ton of bright lights on it. If you choose to turn the timer on, it will show a very faint dot based on which timer you pick. Because I let it run all night, there aren't any faint dots that show up. It's also very travel friendly, very similar to tossing a phone in your bag with its charger and walking out the door. I'll most likely buy a second one in the upcoming months for when I travel, that way my other one can stay at home. As far as sound quality goes, I give this noise machine a 10/10. The noises aren't scratchy or grating, but very natural and soothing. I've not had any issues with the volume or adjusting it and the speaker sounds great too. This little box has been a game changer for me in terms of falling asleep more easily, and I'm really glad I purchased it. If you're worried about it being complicated to use, don't be. It's super easy to setup, and basically plug and play. I've said it already, but I'm really happy with this purchase and it's definitely one of the best items I've spent money on. It's a quality item at a reasonable price and I couldn't be happier with it. Please Note: I was not paid to write this review. I was not given free merchandise to write this review. Sleep has always been a challenge for me to obtain, especially when there are soft, high pitch sounds (television, conversation, dog barking, etc.) in other rooms or outside my bedroom window that keep my mind active and rob me of health-essential sleep. This small sound device offers 20 different background sounds that drown out the distracting sounds, allows my brain to settle down, and creates a relaxing environment that promotes sleep. It is easy to find the specific sound and set the volume that works. Also, it is reasonably priced and takes up a small amount of space on my bed stand. It is worth the cost and is a lot cheaper than sleep medication.

I'm a sound machine fanatic and I've owned a number of sound machines over the years. I use them to drowned out other noises and I also find the right sound machine to be soothing even if there are no sounds to mask. This sound machine has the benefit of being small enough to fit almost anywhere but having the capacity to be very loud, if necessary. Simple to turn on and off. You can set it to play 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours, or continuous. I only use the white noise setting on sound machines so I haven't really spent much time listening to the other sounds, but the white noise is good, IMHO. I like a softer, higher pitch white noise rather than that deep, industrial fan-type white noise. Even though it's gentle, the white noise setting is good at masking other sounds if you turn the volume up. The sounds on this machine are continuous--you don't hear that annoying stop-start/looping sound like you do with some sound machines.

It sounds great! Has many different sounds, volume control and a timer with different settings. It’s small and compact but can get pretty loud if you want it to. No weird start/stop loop sound, it stays continuous. The reason I removed a star is because for some reason whenever I have it plugged into the wall and I connect my phone to the same outlet to charge, the sound machine will shut off. I don’t know if that’s the plug pulling too much electricity when the phone is plugged in or what. That’s kind of annoying because now I can’t connect other things to the same plug. Otherwise it’s been great. So until I figure out how to plug more than one thing into the same outlet without the machine shutting off, I’ll keep the 4 stars.

My son had been asking for a sound machine for awhile, so I tried this one because it was lower priced than others. It is a great machine!! Has over a dozen sound options, timer settings, and is easy to use. Such a great value for the price!! Buying another one for the guest room.

I just love this little sound machine. I bought it for my dog to have white noise in a hotel room. At $16, this is a steal. It is compact in size, but mighty and it has many different sounds to choose from. Highly recommend.
