This device works great, is small, looks great, easy to use. Power is supplied with a USB connection. I replaced a bulkier sleep machine. This small device has more than enough volume range and the perfect background sounds. I sleep so well with this on. And I travel a lot so this fits in my bag and is high enough quality to withstand travel. I looked at it many times and hesitated because I thought it was too small to be effective and too low priced - that’s not the case at all. Get you one and see for yourself.     • It works better than other machines I have had in the past.
So why is this go great? Good size for travelling, it has many different sounds - not just white noise or birds, can vary the time allowed to play. Just a good design with all the features without the huge pricetag.

    • small machine, big sound
The first sound that came up was exactly what I needed. It's smaller and sturdier than the one that croaked on me, and has a wider range of white noise, specifically more bass. Turning off all the LEDs gave me uninterrupted sound, and unlike the previous machine, it remembers the settings even if you turn off the surge protector (cutting off the power).     • Great for travel but you can hear the loop
I bought this because of the size and the price. We've used Dohm and Lectrofan white noise machines for years. I wanted something small and USB powered that we could leave in the RV for travel. This works great, it's pretty small, easy to use and gets quite loud. We found most of the sounds to be pleasant to sleep to and mostly use one of the fan sounds. Initially I thought there was no audible loop point, but on the 2nd night I heard it and now I can't un-hear it. Were it not for this I'd have given it 5 stars. However it is much less noticeable than many other electronic white noise machines out there. Great value for the money. ... show more

I love this sound machine it has many sounds to choose from. The volume control is effortless. You can set it on a timer or have it on continuously. Very simple and easy to use, it's also compact and great for traveling.

    • It works! I sleep thru the night now
For the last 2 years, I have had trouble either falling asleep or staying asleep all night long. I had no idea if this little box would help, but I was getting desperate. For the price it was worth a try. I listened to all the different sounds and knew the rain or the babbling brook would be the winner. I turned on the rain, adjusted the volume till it really did sound like a gentle rain outside the window- and fell asleep within the hour and stayed asleep all night long. With just a few exceptions, I have used it successfully for months now. I assume everyone has a sound that would help them sleep and there are many different 'sounds' in this little box to choose from. Some of them would keep me up more than put me to sleep- but to each his/her own. I cannot hear where it starts to 'loop' the rain, or the babbling brook, but perhaps some of the sounds you can hear it, which may diminish the pleasure of it. As far as the controls- it just has some very small buttons on the front which are labeled in the small instruction booklet that comes in the box with it. I found them easy to remember which and what order I need to press them. For me- all I have to do at night is press and hold the 1st button- that turns it on to whatever setting I used the last time- which for me- is to turn on and start rain and it is set to continue (at my last volume setting) until I hit and hold that 1st button again in the morning so it goes off for the day. One of the buttons is to run thru the different sounds, one is to lower and one is to raise the volume. Each time hitting the 1st button (after it turns on), will light up above a button (has nothing to actually do with any button), and that one light tells you the sound will be on for an hour after which the box will turn itself off. Hit the 1st button twice, you get 2 lights = 2 hours of sound then off, hit the 1st button 3 times= 3 lights = 3 hours before it turns itself off and so forth. I believe you can get up to 5 hours on, (5 lights lit). I however, hit and hold the 1st button and make sure I have no lights showing- so the sound plays till I turn it off myself. The fact that the box holds the memory of what sound, for how long and at what volume is wonderful. At the price of this little box- I say emphatically TRY IT. ... show more

Needing help sleeping and knowing that the sounds of waves on a beach have always helped me sleep, a few days ago I spent nearly $60 to buy a top-rated EVO device. It had so many choices of fans and other sounds, but the wave sound was dismal. (Later I read several reviews saying that it "sucks".) It's going back. Then I found this Magicteam Sound Machine for about $20. Several reviews said the wave sounds were great. When it arrived (nextday shipment) I looked at it and thought nothing that small could produce good sound. But it does. Great variety in the 20 track choices (see image) Love the gentle wave sound.
