Overall, I really like this. Cons: -No volume control on the mask. -You can't use while plugged into USB, so if you forgot to charge it or you are using it for a long period of time, you can't just plug it in and use it. Not sure why they did that. -The controls on the front are hard to use while wearing the mask. The controls are flat, so there is no way to feel where the buttons are that control on/off and connection, or the next/previous buttons. These really need to be raised. There doesn't need to be anything beyond that as there are only 3 buttons, but being raised where you can feel them with your fingertips when you are wearing the mask would be very helpful. Pros: - very comfortable. I have been getting over covid and have been sleeping a lot and I haven't had any real issues. I had a little bit of soreness on the surface of my ears at first...so maybe a little more padding would be in order...but that went away in a couple of days as my ears got used to having the hard speakers up against them. -sound is pretty good. They arent Bose level quality, but they are good enough for the job. The only improvement on the speakers would be something to better hold the speakers on your ears. With it being in the band, any movement of the mask on your face can move the speakers away from your ears. I haven't had this happen often as the mask stays pretty snug, but it is a minor inconvenience when it does happen. Overall this is a great product and well worth the price.

This sleep mask is very comfortable especially with the padding around the eyes! It's awesome! It fits around my head and has a velcro adjustable band which for me is a big deal! I bought it because the last sleep band I bought was way too big and had no way to make it fit around my head so I safety pinned it to make it smaller but it still slid up my head making me wake up because I stopped hearing the sleep-sounds I was listening to. What a hassle and defeated the purpose of buying a sleep band. This one also has a notch to go over the nose and it stays in place. The sound quality is great and now I look forward to going to bed since this sleep band helps me sleep instead of making me wake up in the middle of the night. It also is not too warm but is very comfortable. I wouldn't say it is a sound cancellation because if I'm wearing them with no music they do not cancel sound. I can still hear sounds even at night when I'm listening to my sleep music or binaural beats but I drop off to sleep quickly. I sleep through the night so if there is any noise I am not aware of it and so far have not woken up because of other sounds during the night. If you have trouble sleeping it is the greatest thing, especially for me having tried many sound remedies that haven't worked (sound machine, cell phone music or a small bluetooth speaker at my bedside playing sounds). This has bluetooth I connect to my cell phone's music or binaural beats at a very low volume. I can't recommend these enough! Someone must have understood what it takes in a sleep band to develop these since they really are comfortable and work well!

I have been using this for 5 years every day and as a light sleeper this is a game changer! My husband snores like a freight train and likes to watch TV in bed but I need dark and quiet. I turn this on and use a sound machine app. Magical. I can't hear or see a thing. Only issue is they only last about a year until the wires break. Easy to wash. Speakers can be difficult as a side sleeper but easy to move to a comfortable space. I tell everyone to get this!

The fabric is soft against the skin and around the eyes, the adjustable strap makes it easy to adjust for your head size so it's not too tight or loose. I tried the mask on in daylight and was impressed with the blackout where no light came through to my eyes where other products I've tried did let some light through. Setup and pairing to my phone was easy, the speakers in the side of the mask are slightly adjustable to move closer to your ears, the volume is loud enough and won't disturb someone else in the room. The included charging cable is a USB mini, and charging didn't take long. Once charged you can tuck the cable back into the fabric of the mask, just don't lose the white charging cable since usb mini connection is not as common as it once was with many devices now using USB C. Overall sound quality is good, I used this mainly to listen to audio books but also listened to music. It's comfortable sleeping with it on, doesn't move even when I would roll from one side to the other. It says the mask is washable but I haven't tested that yet.

I have used this mask nightly for 21 months and it finally failed this week (charging cord). I love that it is very effective at blocking out light. The speakers are the most important part because as a parent of teenagers I would often lie in bed at night worrying about their future, their homework, their friends, their mental health, my future (theoretical) grandkids, and all kinds of random thoughts. Now I que up a mildly interesting and distracting podcast and turn on the sleep timer for 10 minutes and I am asleep before the podcast shuts off. A boring audiobook (not too interesting!) would work too and last a long time! If I wake up in the night I restart the podcast and go right to sleep again. The sounds never bothers my partner like playing from a speaker would. Pros: comfortable and adjustable, washable, blue tooth speakers that can slide in the mask to position in the exact best spot near my ears, sound does not bother partner, I can get away with charging only once/week. Cons: If the battery gets too low and it shuts off, the voice saying "Power off" is louder than the podcast I was listening to and can startle me out of a light sleep. The charging cable can get in the way if it slips out of the mask, and ultimately the point of connection to the mini USB was the point of failure (see pic). Be sure to silence phone notifications or you can be awakened by a text alert! I love it enough, and rely on it every night to fall asleep quickly, that I will order a replacement. Update: I reduced my review to 3 stars because of battery issues with my second mask. I have a replacement that works as well as the first with a big exception. Like many of the other reviewers have said, the battery does not hold a charge for very long. I usually listen for 10-15 minutes and then my podcast turns off (sleep timer), but the headset stays on all night. If I wake up during the night I may listen to another 10-15 minutes of a podcast. I am finding that this mask needs to be charged every day, or at least every other day. Sometimes I wake in the night and the mask has no charge left. This is after only a few minutes of actual speaker use, but then left on the rest of the night not playing anything. My first mask would last a week between charges under the same circumstances. One plus: This one doesn't say "power off" when it shuts down due to a weak battery.

I love this sleep mask so much that I just bought a 2nd mask so I can keep it in my travel bag and never be without it! I've had my 1st mask for over a year and I use it all the time. The one I just bought appears to be exactly the same as the one I bought a year ago. I listen to sleep meditations whenever I have problems falling asleep, so this lets me listen without waking up my husband! The description says battery life is 12 hrs, though I only listen for about an hour, and then I plug it back in when I wake up (and leave it on the charger until the next use). That said, I've never had any battery issues. The sleep mask part of it is very comfortable - it has padding to keep the mask off my eyes and block out all the light. The inside is a smooth synthetic fabric, and the band is elastic with Velcro. You can wash the mask in the washing machine - just take out the headphone module (easy to do), wash, hang to dry and reinsert the headphone module. You can also move the headphones (small, flat speakers inside the mask) to match where your ears are. This product isn't going to give you awesome acoustics since it's just tiny little flat speakers that hover next to your ear - and I don't use it to listen to music for that reason - but it's perfect for white noise, gentle music, audiobooks, guided meditations and audio like that. It would probably be fine for music, just not awesome. Overall I highly recommend this mask (I mean, I did come back to buy a second one lol). If you're considering it, just buy it, you'll love it! These are decent. My wife likes to keep the curtains open since she gets up early so I've been wearing a Tempurpedic eye pillow top bock out light for 18 years. I have gone through 5 Temperpedic eye masks in that time. The elastic eventually wears out and I have to wash them 6x a year so I rotate them. The elastic in a few of mine have worn out so I've been considering getting another one but thought having music or speakers in an eye mask would be great. Unfortunately, Tempurpedic doesn't make one with speakers. In reading several reviews of eye masks with speakers, I noticed concerns about the speaker position and then I wondered about cleaning them so I wanted to make sure before providing others with feedback. 1. When I first received it the speakers didn't match up to my ears when adjusted for comfort and blocking light. It doesn't block the light as well as the Tempurpedic but it's close enough and I really wanted the speakers. 2. Adjusting the speakers came next. Once I got them to fit properly and they were comfortable, it took a few minutes to figure out the best way to move the speakers. It's easy if you use your index finger and thumb to pinch the spot on the mask for ear position with it on. Then remove and gently slide the speaker into position. This took me the longest but I figured it out. 3. The speakers slide back and forth in the pocket they are in and can be removed for washing (though not super easy). Well, they do come out easily, it's more little time consuming to reinsert the charging wire. So I don't use this as my primary mask so I won't have to wash it as often. Overall, I'm satisfied with this mask. It did its job and does what I got them for. The price was good and I'll probably get another set so I can alternate when washing to let them dry well before putting the speakers and wire back in. I don't watch movies with them. I only use to listen to audiobooks when in bed or to help me fall asleep with calm music or meditation. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I switch them out for my Tempurpedic mask and go back to sleep.

It is easy to pair, easy to power on/off, as well as adjust the volume. Very little light creeps in, which is very important because I work nights so it is a bit challenging to sleep with sunlight blazing in the room. Yes, I could have saved the money and just closed the curtains. I tried that, and I am not sure if it is naivete, ignorance, or a sure sign of hatred towards me, possibly a combination of the three, but my wife insists on leaving the curtains open during the day to let the light in. In to my bedroom. While I am trying to sleep. In my bedroom, which she rarely enters during the day, except I am sure to annoy me or verify that I haven't closed the curtains behind her back. The curtains in my bedroom. Where I am sleeping, and bothering no living being in my slumber. During the day. Aside from the wife issue, the only other complaint I have with these is that you need to have a device to connect to, (e.g. phone), and the mask itself, before you can use the mask. Elementary, right? Nope. My wife likes to "organize" everything in the house constantly and with zero warning. She uses the term "everything" but it appears that my stuff is disproportionately focused on during her crusade. I am pretty certain that the only stuff she moves is mine, because I have left little "love you" notes under her stuff throughout the house as she disrobes, puts one of her 350 purses on the table, as well as inside of her "favorite" shoes that she just could not live without but wears maybe once in ten years, but they have to stay right in the middle of every floor in case she "needs" to wear them again, etc. None of those notes have seen the light of day until I check on them. You get the point. She really is pure chaos and the world should tremble and go into full panic mode if she offers to organize, unless you like kid's games, because it is like playing hide and seek with my stuff every day. Arguably, that sounds like fun, but the problem is that she never remembers where she "organized" stuff to, so both of us are forced to seek out my stuff that she cleverly decided was better suited to the basement or some other random location. Fun for everyone, and exactly how I want to spend my COVID mandated time at home. So anyways, you need your device to connect to and the mask itself in your possession and not "organized" in some unpredictable location, and then it sounds great. Small speakers, but certainly loud enough for their intended purpose and not horrible for basic sounds like waterfalls, beaches, etc. Very little light gets in, and the mask really is comfortable to the point that you forget you are wearing it, which may freak you out a bit upon waking, especially after watching Bird Box. Yes I would buy it again, and will probably need to if my wife keeps "organizing" my stuff but ignoring the ten thousand items she has spread across every possible surface in every single room of every single location she visits. Also, the battery life is great. I would estimate 30 hours of use before charging.
