This is very easy to put together, even without referring to the instructions. The hose gets a little warm but not more than something like this would. Speaking of the instructions, I did not read them ahead of time to find out how to switch the units so I set it to 2.25 bars, the estimated equivalent to 32 psi and set the device to inflate. It shut off at 2.25 as expected, then I verified with a tire gauge that it did achieve 32 psi. I felt that the carry bag was a little snug. You HAVE to detach the hose to fit it in and be able to close it. For something that I want to use sporadically, but quickly, this is annoying, but I can always find a different bag to carry it in and probably will. I definitely appreciate you can ‘set it and forget it’ until you hear it cut off. I got through the very low (14psi) tire and the charge had gone down one blip to be two-thirds full. If all four tires are desperately low, you probably won’t make it through all of them, however if all four tires are that low, one should not be driving on them. Under ordinary circumstances, if you are doing ‘maintenance inflation’ I expect you will get through all four tires without having to recharge. Bonus - this comes with several attachments for whatever you need to inflate. I am able to use it to inflate my exercise ball in a snap versus the manual pump that came with it. Very efficient. The compact size of this inflator is what justifies the price point. There is sporadically a coupon, in which case you should get it, right away before it goes back up, because that is a deal and a half.

There are two car issues that are perpetual: dead batteries and flat tires. Previously both issues have been a giant pain to overcome - often involving heavy equipment or asking others for help. But I recently got two solutions to those problems - and it has provided so much peace of mind. The solutions are similar products - small battery powered helpters that solve their respective problems. I use a small battery pack that can jump my car without having cables. It's super nice. And this portable pump solves my tire issues. Now I have these small pieces of gear that allow me to ride easily. I really like that it is dummy proof. You set the desired power level (for the pressure) and it fills it until you're at the correct pressure. You don't have to do the back and forth with a tire gauge to make sure you don't over (or under) inflate. It's crazy easy. For the price, this provides so much utlity and peace of mind. It's way worth it.

The first unit I received wouldn’t charge up. I exchanged it, and the new replacement only shows one bar when I charged it fully overnight. This product is trash.

I gave this Portable Tire Inflator to my sister & brother-in-law as part of their Christmas gifts on Saturday. When I got off work today (Christmas Day....yes, I had to work today!), she called me & told me that they had already used it today on an under-inflated TRUCK tire. The reason that I high-lighted the word TRUCK...is because I was sceptical about this "hand-held" air compressor getting the job done on a "big old truck tire" as opposed to a much smaller car tire. She mentioned that it did take some time (I think she said something like ten minutes), but it was a really low tire...... and HEY!!! that's better than having to put on the spare. SO, I GUESS I RECOMMEND IT!

I requested this inflator because I needed an effective way to keep the tires on my mountain bike aired up when I go camping. This one does that job perfectly, and then some. This thing is built like a tank and it's very simple to operate. The display is large and clear, and the center buttons have icons imprinted on them to make it easier to navigate the various functions and settings. And I really like that it's compact size allows it to be readily stowed in my backpack. It has three 2000mAh built-in batteries for a total of 6000mAh. This will provide a long runtime and is consistent with other top tier brands. And since this inflator can also be used as a power bank, I know there is plenty of energy available to charge my phone or my smart watch. This is an incredibly useful feature, especially while I'm out on a bike trail with no access to electricity. The inflator's remaining battery life is always displayed on the screen so I can see when it's time to charge it back up. I tested this unit by setting the desired air pressure and then putting several pounds of air in my car tire, as well as my bike. The hose is very well-made. It has a braided protective outer layer that prevents the line from becoming pinched or getting damaged. Also, the air chuck stayed securely in place after it was clamped onto the valve stem. The auto shutoff function worked perfectly and kicked in once the pressure was where I wanted it to be, this is another great feature that is designed to prevent possible damage to my tires from overfilling. This inflator performed exactly as advertised and easily met my expectations. It's a very handy tool that can be used on cars, trucks, bikes, or just about anything else that can be inflated. It definitely provides an affordable and convenient way to maintain your tires at home, or on the go. Taking cost, effectiveness, and ease of use into consideration, I really feel this piece of equipment is worth getting for your vehicle.

Sometimes it is just tough to find a place that has an air station and if you can one, you have to pay for. This thing has saved me more than a few times and the battery holds its chsrge well. It is light, easy to use and should be an everybodys car kit. I have had no issues pumping up a floatie, a SUV tire and even my truck tire. The only interesting thing is where the hose connects to the device get tends to get hot to the touch after use. Turn it on, set your pressure, and once it reaches pressure it auto shuts off. No fuss, no stopping and checking or trying to find a tire gauge to see what your tire pressure is.
