You don’t need a 5090 unless you want to burn money. The 5080 is the top of the line (reasonable) card you can get these days (mid 2026). Was able to play Cyberpunk2077 on Ray tracing ultra settings in 4K with DLSS on and got between 66-88 FPS in the built in benchmark. Have not found a game yet that gives the card any issues. Build quality is great especially with the built in 12V HP connection light (green is good, red is bad). Also, unlike some other 5080s on the market, this card has vapor chamber cooling and is whisper quiet even under heavy load. It’s also enormous, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your build. I paid $1250 for it, I think it is worth that price, but everyone will have different opinions. Absolutely awesome video card !! Handles diablo 4 on max and hardly uses 50% Throw anything at it and it runs awesome. I am using a 240hz monitor and have most items maxed in global settings on nvidea . Be sure to set frame rate in global to 3 under your monitor refresh rate.

Installed a few days ago I went from a 3080ti to the 5080 and I"m sure glad I found this card during this market. The games look amazing it runs great no cooling issues runs quiet and for the price in this market it's a great buy. Funny enough it's lighter than my 3080ti

It has handled everything I have thrown to it, ans I have never seen it go warmer than 64 Celsius degree (living in a 27-30 C° place), it undervolts and overclocks so easily and stable. I'm very satisfied with it, it's not that big so it will fit in a compact case like the Lian Li A3 easily and you'll still have room to install 2 120mm fans. As far as I know, Zotac included fuses to protect their GPUs from melting, and it also has a small green/red led that warns you when the 12VHPWR cable is correctly plugged in. The reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price, it's 250 usd above the MSRP which was the price that Zotac's top tier Extreme Amp was released. (Also I saw a PNY Epic X model for 160 USD cheaper 4 days after I bought this, so I had bad luck thinking this was the cheapest model I could get at the time). But overall it is an amazing GPU, excellent build quality, excelent features from zotac, and excellent cooling performance, only the price is the only cons I could find it. ... show more

Had a EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra. Was a FANTASTIC beast of a GPU. This card beats it by about 15-22% on benchmarks. Runs smooth. Looks great. Best part is I sold my 3090 for almost how much this card costed. It only cost me 100$ for the upgrade !

Pros: 50/50 entre juegos y edición, va perfecta!. No se para el timeline nunca si se sabe configurar el cache y va muy fluida en juegos, con todo en ultra. Lastima que el salto sea tan poco pero al final blackwell es blackwell. Contras: Se calienta bastante a veces los ventiladores no estabilizan la temperatura del todo, para renders largos o periodos de juego largo hay que ponerle un buen flujo de aire al case. ... show more
