  • ZERO REGRETS! THIS CARD WAS MEANT FOR GAMING!
Absolutely zero regrets. Don't listen to everyone talking smack about this card. This thing is amazing! Well built, virtually silent, and amazing performance. It's the size it needs to be and the cooler does exactly what it needs to do. Keep things cool while keeping a steady MHz! Pros: - Steady 2050 MHz on my unit without raising voltage/upping power limits - 12 GB of VRAM - Well built and hefty. They perfected this cooler: slim and solid - Perfect size and not overly deformed like some of the monstrosities out there - Never went above 72C - Silent!!! I'm very picky about noise (notice all my bequiet! gear?) and this thing out of the box is silent - 180FPS+ on Warzone @1440p Mix of High and Comp settings - Bought it used (Amazon Warehouse) for $915 after Amazon CC 5% cashback, it came down to $870 Cons: - Have to hear people that can't even afford this card complain that it isn't a STRIX or TUF. ... show more

  • Perfect upgrade!
I upgraded from a 1050ti when this card hit $799 on Prime day. The graphics card arrives new, sealed, in box, shipped and sold by Amazon. The card was plugged in, wired with 2 8 pin dedicated connectors, and immediately booted up. Display resolution WILL be awful until you add drivers. Further, I recommend using AfterBurner and not Zotac excuse for an OC software, Firestorm. The LEDs are extremely bright out of the box, can be dimmed in Firestorm. I had to put a fairly aggressive fan curve on it to keep the card under 65C. Card plays PUBG 1440pUltra144, Fornite1440pUltra250+, BF2042 1440Ultra90~. Do not worry if the fans don't spin when you turn your pc on. Mine shipped with a 50C minimum temp to spin the fans. The card isn't terribly heavy, no real need for a support. EDIT: I worry that this card actually fried a PCIE slot on my Z370 Pro4 motherboard. I don't think that board was well suited for a card of this caliber. Z690, in my now current build, works flawlessly. The system sits as a 12700k, 3080 12GB, 32GB of 3200mhz Corsair LPX, Aiza A300 (Lian Li O11 knockoff), EVGA G5 1000W, and MSI 360mm AIO. ... show more

  • RTX 3080 Ti Like performance Period..
I own alot of Zotac Gpu's and the only complaint minus the price should be a little cheaper as well but my complaint which is with most brands is card sag but that's on the manufacturer, they should know to build up the right side of the card to not bend down using the backplate on that side for better reinforcement other than that there's nothing wrong with Zotac period they've come a long way in short time. Great performance especially on 4K and quiet as a church mouse people complain about noise and I guarantee 99% on this that likely it's your CASE FANS and your PSU making all the noise you may not have sufficient hardware for the card and think it's the gpu making the noise but it's very quiet even under heavy loads like my 3070 Ti and 2080 Ti from Zotac. The box came without a scratch or nick and everything was as described. Glad I bought it when I did. ... show more

  • Zotac is great. The 3080 isn't enough for me though.
Zotac is a good company, from my experience. Nothing against them. The card was beautifully designed. Packaged nicely and securely. Ran nicely. Not too noisy, in my opinion. Temperatures were reasonable. The size was reasonable enough, and it fit in the case my 2080ti was in. It's just that I wanted to upgrade from my 2080ti and.... 3080 just wasn't it. Not powerful enough. I love Ray Tracing and have a 4K monitor. This card can't do both of those things at once. I returned it and bought a 4090 after saving up a few months for it. I think the 3080 is a great 1440p card, but not perfect for 4K AAA gaming with Ray Tracing turned on. You could absolutely make it work at 4K in AAA games, but there would be sacrifices, and I'm just not the type of guy that likes to sacrifice any quality for frames. Again, the 3080 is a great card. Not even the 3090s can max out AAA games at 4K with Ray Tracing at max. Only the 4080/4090 can do that thanks to DLSS 3 Frame Generation, and now Ray Reconstruction in DLSS 3.5. Consider it it if you're mostly playing competitive games at 1080p or 1440p. Single player games at 1080p or 1440p would also run great. You're just not always going to be able to max games out, and that's okay. Obviously, if you have the money and have a need for the extra power, then get a 4080/4090 or wait for the 50 series. ... show more

  • Solid build quality but, louder than I like
I honestly bought this product soon as the price dropped to $799. In retrospect if I thought I could have snagged the Asus Noctua card for a similar instead I would gladly take it instead. At full load this card is audible across the room with a decent sound bar going. It is less loud than my old EVGA 2080 but, not by enough. This card's cooler and shroud feel well made, the fans not so much. Still, it performs great and is more than a noticble upgrade from the 2080. ... show more

  • Died after 2 years
I am not a heavy gamer. I play mostly indie games and video settings are usually not maxed out. I did nothing special to this card, did not overclock it (beyond factory). I always ran the latest drivers and kept it as dust free as possible. Very general maintenance, but never neglect. After 2 years, it was starting to have some issues like a flickering screen in normal Windows / desktop operation, but it was very minor and mostly fixed itself. However this was probably a sign that some bigger underlying problem existed. Finally one day I was playing an indie game and the card crashed. Screen went black. Motherboard led indicated VGA issue. I removed the card and the PC booted with internal graphics. Plugged in a different card and it worked fine. Reinstalled this one and it again wouldn't boot. Card is dead. Fans all seem to be working fine, but no life on any of the outputs. Ended up getting a 4080 for half the price this one had cost me and it has no issues. I can see the price hasn't moved in 2 years.... ... show more

  • Awesome and cheap
So ordered the GPU to finally finish my new PC build and the card is something else the performance is awesome. Just beware it is a big card and you will need to get a GPU bracket as the card does sag. Overall it blends nicely in my system
