The mobile app is awesome so that we can watch the house while at work or away from the house. I purchased these cameras a few months back. I needed a replacement system for the ones that went down just after a year of use. These cameras provide a good clear picture, and the interface is easy to use, including the mobile application. The big plus on this was customer service. On two occasions I had to call support. The first was because I forgot/messed up my master password. They provided prompt resolution. The second was I was having issues with two of the cameras out of the blue. I emailed support, they returned my email in an acceptable amount of time. It did take some time to troubleshoot as it is done via email, however once it was found to be defective devices, the agent was prompt to begin the replacement process. My agent Aimee stayed with the process from beginning to end. She followed up consistently, letting me know items were received back, when product was shipped back to myself, followed up to make sure they were working and if I was having any more troubles. This is a plus in my book as I didn't have to explain over and over to different people, as I had one person working the case from start to finish. The adjustment screws found at the joints of the camera are cheap and present a product quality issue for this camera. I went through two cameras to make sure the first one wasn't a fluke and I was dismayed that I still encountered the same result. I have posted my first and last pieces of correspondence to customer support below. In my attempt to remedy this issue, customer support was eventually ineffective in providing any real, tangible solutions to the problem. I suspect that this issue has been around for a while, yet there is no interest to act upon it at the expense of the end-user. Very disappointing. -------------------------------------- Initial support request: Hi Zosi: I recently purchased one of your surveillance cameras through Amazon and I'm having trouble trying to loosen the two bracket screws to configure the camera to a desired angle. I've tried multiple approaches: from buying a new screwdriver set, to using a WD-40-type lubricant, to applying heat to the area since the cold weather may be to blame. Regardless, the problem remains. Do you have any guidance for this? --------------------------------------- Final response: Issue not resolved. I attempted the last suggestion made by customer support to use a larger screwdriver to create more force in loosening the screws at the adjustment joints of the camera. I tried multiple screwdrivers that could best fit the crosshairs of the screws with no progress. The result was always the same: the crosshairs do not provide enough stability for the screwdriver to be able to produce the necessary torque to loosen the screws, and the screws themselves are so tightly entrenched in the body of the adjustment joints to be able to be loosened. I then returned the camera and bought a second one to rule out any flukes and yet I still encountered the same results, following the same advice made in response to my complaint with the first camera. These screws seemingly present a significant product quality issue in that line of cameras that limit overall functionality. Since so much effort has been made just to address this one issue with no resolution, I've just decided to explore another manufacturer which produces this type of camera, hopefully providing much better results. I will not be recommending Zosi products to any one of my contacts. There doesn't seem to have been any motivation to make improvements to the product, and there appears to be no werewithal with customer support to furnish effective solutions to this problem. I had ordered four Zosi cameras to replace a couple that had finally seen better days. One out of the four had a blurry picture in both day and night vision. I contacted tech support and Cathy contacted me about the problem. She asked me to try a few trouble shooting steps which, unfortunately, did not work. She arranged for a replacement camera to be sent and it arrived within a couple days so there was no long wait time. Thank you, Cathy!
