The camera/ DVR installation and set up are straightforward. The quality of the cameras is good. Tips: select Clear (instead of Fluent) to get a better quality of videos. You can also download AVSS program from the Zosi website to your PC to view the cameras on your PC. Tips: right click on the camera(s) and select HD (instead of SD) to get a better quality of videos. I deduct one star because it takes a little of time to start the Zosi Smart app to connect to the cameras. Notes: this DVR does not come with a hard drive. You have to install your own. ... show more

The camera system took a little more time to get to me than preferred but overall i am now very happy with my purchase. I’m an electrician that has installed hundreds of cameras over the past 15 years and I can say I’m impressed with the overall quality of the system. The cameras are by no means cheap, they have crystal clear images during day and clear images in night mode. The cameras themselves are durable and easy to install. The dvr works great. The only downside I see to system is that all cables are 100 foot long, as long as you know how to install your own camera wire you will be fine. These cameras seem very well made. When i hold them they are solid! I have 14 setup in my house and around outside. The phone app got a lot better with the last update. The desktop app sucks tho :(.
