This worked great and allowed us to control our Zoom LiveTrak L-20 mixer with an iPad. It works great. It is plug and play. You plug it into the mixer and then open the app on the iPad and the invitation to connect opens immediately. We have used it a few times and it has always connected easily. It allows my sound man to sit walk around and hear the sound and make adjustments as needed while still leaving the mixer board on the stage so that a "snake" is not needed. I liked how I could stop and start my camera from my seat while recording. I didn't like how I had to reset it every time but I think it was the camera and not this. I didn't like its limitations. I didn't really like the price for what it's capable of. I don't like how the camera was not what I expected after receiving two of them and eventually sent it back but couldn't return this item. Now I'm stuck with it until I can find someone to buy it. Unless of course zoom actually make a camera that shoots good videos. Then maybe I can use it again. ... show more

This is a must if you have an H4essential as long as you have an iPhone, had to get an old one from my wife's junk drawer. I'm an android guy and there's no app for my kind.

There is no Android app support for the Zoom BTA-1 if you are trying to control the B6 or F6 processors. Very disappointing that they create this proprietary adaptor and then leave out the Phone/Tablet that has greatest market share. My bad for not researching first.
