I'm 5'8" and 185lbs, wear a 42S jacket, 33x30 pants, and have an athletic build. The medium in this fits perfectly. Not too tight, but still looks tailored enough to be stylish. Also, big enough to allow airflow, but not so big to look like a bag. My only 2 style gripes are that the collar feels a bit oversized, and I'm still a bit on the fence about the button placket. I deducted a star on the collar, however, the placket is pictured on the advertisement so I won't deduct that. It's true to the ad.

The fabric is nice, polyester that has a linen weave look. It’s well made with some nice details on sleeves & button flap. If you want a loose fitting shirt with some give in the abdomen I’d go a size up. It’s definitely for a thin physique. Machine washed but hung to dry because of their instructions but the creases from the shrink wrapped packaging didn’t come out. Will use a dryer next time& take my chances. Instructions say to use a cool iron, yeah, right. It’s suppose to be an easy care polyester. Buttons are hidden for a clean look but it’s more time consuming to spread the top flap open between the top stitching.

This is a basic button down collared shirt made of breathable, textured fabric. One of the things that attracted me to this shirt is the fabric. We travel frequently and a shirt that can be hand washed and hung to dry is a plus for plane travel. This shirt is a polyester / spandex blend which is light and comfortable. It has a small amount of give, but isn’t clingy. The shirt is offered in a few basic colors. I choose the green which is a sage green shade that appears pretty much as it looks on my computer monitor. The shirt is true to size. One unusual thing about this shirt is the buttons are covered by a placket. There is a row of horizontal stitching between each button that holds the placket in place, so it isn’t gaping. The stitching on the green shirt is black. In the pictures, it appears the light blue and white shirts also have black stitching and the black and navy have white. The contrasting stitching is a design element, meant to be seen. The placket hides the buttons.

I found that this shirt worked best as a layering shirt. I used it like a light jacket for cool weather. It worked really well. It does have a bit of crunchiness to it because the material is a little bit stiffer than cotton. It was lighter weight than cotton but also less breathable (which is why I used it as an overshirt).
