I am 5’4” 189 lbs. i ordered xxl. I was sure they’d be too big after studying the size charts. I am surprised that they fit fine, exactly what i was hoping for. They are too long, but i like the cuffs rolled up. Waist fit is perfect (elastic). Perfectly baggy.

The fabric is a highly textured, heavy cotton and the fabric doesn't have the drape, movement or functionality of parachute fabric at all. The style is extremely wide through the thighs and knees, much wider than jodhpurs for horse riding. These are summer pants, not what I wanted.

The size I was not sure of, however I did my best guess and turned out to fit well. The pocket description influenced my choosing this brand over others. Be warned the pockets are not large. There are four pockets. The front pockets are barely large enough to fit my hand, and the back pockets are about the size of a not bulky wallet. The stitching in the front pockets was coming undone before I even tried them on so about 20 minutes of sewing and they are fine. I am happy with the quality of them and the material. For anyone who is not sure of the size, I am 6 ft 170 lb. I ordered XXL and they fit great I let them go through the washer and dryer. One thing that I am very happy with is that the shoestring type drawstring was not sewn in to the waistband, and I was easily able to replace it with a better lace. I used paracord with a cord lock and it works great. They are skinny in the ankle and a little tricky to take on and off, but no worries.
