Had previously got talked into a huge cage. My chamelon only used part of larger cage. He uses all of this cage. It is also easier to keep humidity and heat level at healthy levels.

When I received the cage it was shipped just in it's box and nothing else so the box was really beat up and was tore open at the bottom so I was worried some pieces might be missing. When it arrived I happened to be out of town so my husband set it aside for me. When I returned I was unable to get to it right away so once I did and had a chance to look in the box everything was there and believe it or not nothing had been damaged during shipping. However during manufacturing the back panel screen either had not been caught correctly or when they cut the excess screen off after pressing it in border around the screen they accidentally cut the screen. I did contact the seller but in hind-site I realized it was past the 30 days and I should be contacting the manufacturer. The seller was kind enough to respond quickly and let me know that I needed to contact the manufacturer which by then I realized I did. I reached out to Zoo Med and they responded with in hours and said they were sorry for the problems I had and if I would send them my address they would happily ship me out a replacement panel and they shipped a new on right out. The screen in these is very fragile so you need to be careful but for the price they are great. They are very easy to put together and the company is awesome to work with. I would highly recommend this cage. I looked long and hard and did a lot of price comparing before settling on this and this was by far the most reasonable for the money. ... show more

The main thing I would like to impart is that this enclosure, even though called Large, is in, my opinion, too small for any Panther or Veiled chameleon. I have had several XL Reptibreezes, and decided to try this an a outside summer enclosure for my male panther chameleon when the temperature is nice, and it's okay for that--my husband calls it his teardrop trailer, but I can't imagine having this as a full-time home. It's just too small. Another point is that you absolutely need the optional substrate bottom tray that is sold as an accessory (for any Reptibreeze), to catch the water and, you know. I needed to get a bigger cage for my chameleon. The package came earlier than I expected, but the box looked like it was opened when I got it. Not sure if this was supposed to be a brand new box but it certainly didn't look like it. The cage itself is good, a little bit shaky when you open the door, but it does the job. ... show more

The quality of the cage itself is fine but the tiny metal knobs the cage latches to were basically broken off. I can see this being an issue with most as they get smashed in the box.
