I was hoping this wading pool would be the perfect size for my tortoise, but the ramp is so steep that she cannot get out. I would guess a tortoise must be at least 10” long to handle the incline, but then it wouldn’t fit inside. Mine is 4-5 inches long and ends up swimming in air at the top of the peak. I tried to add material so it won’t be so difficult but she still can’t climb it. I think the ad pic is warped to look longer and flatter than the actual product. It is adequately weighted and durable, just need for the ramp to be more flat. ... show more

My tortoise fits inside the water dish perfectly. It likes to walk into it and sit for a bit everyday. It's durable and the color blends in perfectly with the habitat.
