Will be buying dozens more times in the future. Creature soil has a small amount of sand for holding tunnels, great for terrestrial and fossorial critters. I use it for my tarantulas, milipedes, and salamanders in a mix with other types of substrate and it holds tunnels well.

Had no issues that other reviews mentioned. I bought 4 bags because the sale price was amazing. Even at regular price, it's not a bad price like some complained about. I've seen other soil for a lot more; it isn't cheap lol. I buy a lot because I have so many pets that need it. This was my first time trying this product after seeing it recommended as a better alternative for invertebrates than the eco earth I usually used. It’s a great soil and seems to be doing really well in the millipede enclosure, and it’s a nice texture for burrowing… However, I was surprised at how tiny the bag was when it arrived. Usually when I order bags of other substrates they are much larger, so I was just kind of expecting the size bag I am used to without really reading into it… One whole bag does not even completely fill the base tray part of the large zilla micro terrestrial habitat, so I’ll just have to mix it with some eco earth if I want it a bit deeper. You’d need to buy at least a few $10+ bags of this for a 10g tank. ... show more
