I actually went into my orders just to select to write a review because this mattress deserves it. I used to have a dreamcloud mattress. I needed to move across country. I wasn’t going to bring it. It was an outstanding mattress. I needed to save money. I bought the dreamcloud from someone nearly brand new and paid a fraction of the cost. I couldn’t find the same high-end mattress in the region I was moving to on sale, so I started to look to see what I could afford. I began reading articles on non-toxic and organic mattresses out of curiosity. Zoma came up in the top 10 of one of the articles I read. I started reading reviews on their website. I was impressed by how many people (athletes and those dealing with body pain) found enormous recovery using the mattress. The reviews were so outstanding they were hard to believe. I read 50 or so reviews on the product website, Zoma. I read many reviews on here as well. I’m in my 40s. My life is getting very physically active. I took a chance on the 10 inch Zoma here (priced much lower than the website I believe) in hopes that it would just be a good mattress and do its job. I’m not a fan of memory foam. I was worried the mattress would be too hard. Then I was worried it would be too soft. I also watched a YouTube video on Zoma mattresses, someone doing a review. My first night of sleep (after 46 hour drive across country) I went to bed sore from my back down all the way through my legs from the move - unpacking boxes driving lots of lifting lots of moving... I hurt I was exhausted etc. I also had a kink in my neck from poor sleep three nights in a row in hotels etc. I woke up the next morning astonished. All soreness from my back on down was gone. I’ve been through way too much physically to recover so easily. I don’t know the technology of the mattress, but it’s ability to recover the body was astonishing. I woke up with no soreness. How is that even possible?! Anyway, night after night has been the same. I’ve had mattress now one week. It genuinely assists with body pain soreness fatigue recovery, all physical relief. And I wake with energy! I feel energized when I wake in the morning. It actually enlivens me to get out of bed and go, if that’s even possible! Anyway, it’s my favorite thing now, my new energy magic mattress and I do love it. I understand why the reviews were so good and the product does what it claims. Again, I’m in my 40s. I’m pushing about 160. The packaging was great the mattress didn’t smell at all really, but I still aired it out for one day. It looks like it’s thicker than 10 inches to me. It works well with my bed. I don’t need a box spring with the modern style bed I have. It is the perfect amount of softness, just a little bit just enough. You don’t feel deprived of softness and you don’t feel overwhelmed by too much softness. That’s a personal choice though. I don’t think the mattress is lacking softness or firmness, it is firm with just a perfect little bit of soft. I hope this helps! We spend half a day in a bed and it’s important what kind of mattress you sleep in, my opinion. I am super happy with my purchase. I’m super happy with what it’s doing for me and quite surprised! Great starter mattress - had a Zinus, and another memory foam mattress with fiberglass before - huge problem, coughing for about a year, please don't do it. If you need a cheap mattress with no danger - look no further. Firm but comfy, supports you decently, still feels kind of cheap (for $300 expected). I am a stomach sleeper with many weird positions, so don't worry this will probably work for you.

Bought this mattress for my move to a new apartment, gave it a couple hours to regain its shape from being in the box and it was already good to go. I was a bit tore up from moving all my boxes and stuff into the apartment and this bed was a welcome relief after the long day. It’s supportive in all the right places and contours to your body. I definitely did not want to get up the next day. I sleep hot most of the time and the mattress I had before was the Serta bed in the box similar to this one and this Zoma one has way better ventilation/airflow, like a cloud. I will never buy another brand of mattress as long as these are available.

Ordered a twin hybrid mattress for my older daughter about a heart and a half ago. She loves it so much that we ordered my younger daughter this one and just received it. We did receive the wrong size initially but Amazon was great a took care of the issue with no problems!

I was nervous, because other reviews said it was “too firm.” It is firm, but not crazy firm. It has some movement to it. I noticed better sleep immediately. I don’t think I move/toss & turn as much as before. Really enjoying the mattress!

I have been so pleased with the Zoma start mattress since receiving it 2 weeks ago. I have RA and was a little hesitant to order online, but so glad that I did. Upon unboxing and waiting 5-6 hours, I gave it a test run. For the first time in 10 years, I was able to sleep comfortably on my side. The pressure point relief is perfect. At first, the mattress felt a bit “spongy” and soft. However, the next morning I woke up without any pain. My only word of caution is that it’s a little softer than what I had imagined. The softness has not been an issue for me though due the complete relief of pressure pain but I believe those who prefer a medium/firm bed might want to look into a hybrid or more supportive foam mattress. I’d definitely recommend this mattress especially if you’re looking for pain relief.

After weeks of browsing for an AFFORDABLE, comfortable, nontoxic mattress, I finally settled on Zoma. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. As a side sleeper, I really like the pressure zone design at the shoulders and hips. Extremely well-made with safe materials and NO CHEMICAL SMELL!! My only word of caution… If you’re expecting to sink down into a fluffy, cloud like bed, this mattress is NOT for you. Especially if you’re a lightweight. Very firm. Hopefully it will soften with time.

I love this mattress! I felt so much better sleeping on this compared to my old spring mattress. One of my favorite features is that my husband can flop around right next to me and the mattress doesn't move at all or make a sound. It's a firm mattress, hence my three star ranking on the softness factor. I purchased it after reading a review recommending it for athletes and muscle recovery. It certainly has lived up to my expectations.
