Assembled pretty easily and works well. Sturdy enough. Those having an issue with the cracked endcaps are probably over-tightening the bolts which will deform the square tube into a distorted shape.

Rack is ok and sturdy when built. Price is reasonable; however, the plastic parts are awful. Far too brittle, three of the twelve endcaps shattered and broke when assembling the rack - even being particularly careful. Assembly is a bit finicky to place the crossbars the proper distance apart dependent on dumbbell size. Otherwise, rack is fine for the price. ... show more

The rack is an excellent size (not too big) but it has plenty of space for weights of different sizes. It was easy to put together and seems sturdy.

So that everyone is aware, this thing is a piece of crap. You're getting what you paid for. The plastic endcaps are brittle and shatter - one shattered completely while I was inserting it, every single one of them cracked when inserting them. The metal is just thick enough that I don't feel that it'll collapse, but absolutely no more than that. DO NOT load this thing to capacity, you're begging for a collapse. That last point alone earned the one star. It has one job, and frankly I don't believe that it could safely hold the weight that it's rated for. ... show more

Nice good looking dumbbell rack. It’s somewhat compact and the rack depth is adjustable. So it will accommodate all different sizes. Had an initial problem with a part missing, but that was easily taken cared of. It’s not the easiest to put together, but once done, it looks good.

I was looking for inexpensive primarily so this hit the mark. It’s strong and holds the weight. I like the ability to change how the rack holds the weights. That said it is get what you pay for and the fit and finish leaves a lot of room for improvement. It stinks out of the box from the packing oil used on the bolts enough that it will stay in the garage for a few days while it airs out. The black finish is flaking off in several areas, black sand (I’m guessing the finish coat) poured out from inside the legs so give it a good shake over the box to save some sweeping. The end plugs are very brittle, 1/4 broke during insertion. The ones that didn’t break are not centered on the hole. The inside of the legs shows signs of rust, and the drilled out holes do not properly account for clearance of the square heads. On the front the plugs are deep enough that they interfere with the bolt heads, on the back the circular drill holes don’t allow for the square head to pass and bend/collapse the tube when tightened. Not a big deal but it does prevent the plugs from being inserted in the back. ... show more

I tried several versions of dumbbell racks prior to getting this one. When it was time to add more weights, I opted to buy the same unit again even though I only needed about half the space. Pros: - Solid construction - Adjustable rail width - Newer model has better feet than deform less Cons: - Can be a bit of a pain getting everything aligned perfectly, but with a little patience it goes smoothly. - Can easily deform the metal supports by over tightening the bolts. If you do, the end caps won’t go in evenly. This isn’t a huge issue, but be careful when cranking down the bolts. ... show more
