I needed a lightweight saw to cut 4x8 3/4 inch plywood for a cabinet project. I've tried it before with a full size skill saw but was never able to control the saw well enough to get a good straight cut. This saw is light and easy to control.

Its very handy for small, quick cuts when working on projects. I love the portability and it can cut through some pretty thick material. It has a safety plate on it and an auto shut off so I don't cut my fingers off and thats always a bonus when working with saws

So far I am in love with this tool. I’ve cut through 2x4s, wood subflooring, and gypsum drywall. I have used two of the three blades that it came with, so far no complaints. I am eager to try the diamond blade to cut tile. Big fan of the laser light on the front to help with staying on the cut line. Great price.
