I use this so much more than my Ryobi 5.5 and 7.5 circ saws, it's just so much more convenient and i have more control. I love it. I've not had any problems, and this tool is well made, but always purchase the warranty when buying power tools from amazon because you ain't getting one worth anything from Workpro. I'm using it mainly to cut 2x4s, which is the absolute upper thickness for this tool. I use a diablo higher tooth count blade. The fast cut wood blade that comes with this is good, but I don't like the fine tooth blade that comes with it at all on wood. ... show more

Worked fine until the motor burned out. I owned this saw for a little more than a year. I cut mainly cardboard and plastic with it. The first time I tried to cut some plywood, it ran for maybe a minute or so . I smelled something burning then the saw stopped working..!! I contacted workPro customer support..now they want a video of the saw not working plus a video of the battery being charged. I will update this rating according to their customer service support. Thank you. I hope this helps some people. ****UPDATE """* On September 13, 2026 I contacted workPro customer support On September 29 , 2026 I received my brand new replacement workPro 20v mini saw. It only took a total of around 10 emails to get my replacement workPro 20v mini saw. Plus a video showing that the saw was not working. Easy to handle. I am an OLD gal and am putting shelves in my catio. It’s purfect for that. I’m pretty impressed with the power behind such a small battery operated tool but it’s pretty impressive though it will bog down on occasion. I placed it beside a large leaf blower for size comparison. I haven’t run it enough to know how long the battery will last. The only drawback back is that you have to look at the blade from the side to see where you’re going to be cutting. If the laser light works I haven’t figured out how to turn it on yet. I LOVE this tool! It works great for cutting boards while building. I've only used the blade the comes installed, so far, but I love that it has blades for other materials. I also used it to cut down some small trees that were growing right up against my trailer. It cut them down in segments, and this baby had no trouble slicing right through them. The battery life is amazing! I used it for several hours and it was still good to go for more. I had used it for a building project as well. I used it several day in a row, for several hours each day before I even noticed it starting to slow down. The charger works pretty quickly as well.
