This is a solid, but very basic bed frame. If you are looking for a no frills frame - say for your rental, guest room or airbnb this is an OK choice. It seems solid and should last a while but definitely should be hidden by a bed skirt.

We have a Cal King platform bed that sits pretty low so we just wanted to elevate our mattress by a few inches. We chose this 4 inch Ziyoo steel box spring and it has turned out to work perfectly for us. It comes partially assembled but the four corners and center rail have to be attached with the supplied screws and nuts. The hardware kit includes a hex wrench for the screws and a small 9mm wrench for the nuts. If you happen to have a 9mm socket wrench that would make the job a little easier. The assembly went smoothly and the result was exactly what we needed. Very satisfied!

It took us a few minutes to figure out how to get this started, but it started coming together just fine. I appreciate the cover isn’t a zip on. It’s open on the bottom with elastic straps which makes it easier to put on, wash, etc.

The bed frame came very well packaged, nicely painted without dents or scratches and there were no sharp edges. Included were good pictorial instructions for assembly. It was not a difficult job. We have no doubt about the strength of the frame. Good purchase for us!

This queen size bed frame is about the most basic or simple type of frame you are likely to encounter. It does not include a headboard or footboard, it is the main frame only, made with metal. This particular frame is black, but there may be other color options, im not sure. I ordered this frame for my son's bed since it will also give him plenty of space under it for some of his things. He is always needing extra storage space and this frame provides that. The frame itself is pretty easy to assemble, even if you don't have a lot of experience with this type of thing. Again though, this frame is as simple as they come, with zero extras or enhancements to speak of. That is ideal, though, if you are looking for one for someone, like my son, who doesn't have any interest in pretty designs, antique styles, beautiful wood finishes, etc. He much prefers simple and black because he is a simple young man. Overall I do recommend this product, to anyone looking for the same simplicity in a bed frame.
