I was hesitant to purchase a “box spring” that needed assembly. Always thought they came ready made to fit a bed frame. This product was reasonably easy to assemble, in that installing 20 small bolts and nuts that must align with corresponding holes in the frames went together well. Just a small suggestion, screw the nuts of and onto the bolts before actually using them as fasteners. The factory paint makes these items sometimes difficult to begin threading on, until the paint is stripped off by threading. All parts were present, and instructions were adequate.

Easy to put together.. was done in less than 15 mins.. however it does need a box spring or slats.. the picture looks like it has a small plank but it doesnt(which is why it’s got lower stars) It is fairly thin but seems to do the job.. seems like it’s got supports in the right spots.. for the price it’s worth a try

I would have given it 5 stars if I did not have to struggle so much to put this thing together. You can buy the product (well packed, good quality product, all the pieces were there, and the tools were provided) but my advice is to assemble it with the help of another person! Also, I thought that the cover was too small, but actually, you really need to pull on it to fit it around the frame.
