I bought this watch, well, nudged my son to pick it out for him, for Father's Day because my husband enjoys watches. I knew he'd be aware of which watches are a good quality brand and almost purchased another before doing research. I came across this watch as an affordable option for a good quality watch. He is so happy with it. It's a great brand and my husband was thrilled. He commented that he can now stop having to adjust his other watch he was always wearing, as it wasn't keeping accurate time. Citizens are highly accurate, and he is very happy with this watch. It's very attractive and not too big looking on his wrist, as he's a smaller built gentleman - that can big a challenge with men's watches, they get humongous. The blue is a nice, unobtrusive blue, though I know he would have been happy if it were 'bluer'. Great decision for a purchase. He's happy which means I'm happy. ... show more

I loved the look of the watch, which was the main reason I made the purchase. Overall the watch seems to be a quality piece, a little lighter than I expected. It wasn't the Eco Drive, which I of course wanted, but for the money, I couldn't pass this up. I know that the crystal is supposed to be sapphire, but where the watch has been discontinued by Citizen (I'm not sure how long) and the manufacturer doesn't have a listing anywhere on their website in reference to this model, listing the specs, so we'll see how the crystal holds up. The main reason for the four star rating is for the fact that the watch band is a little tighter than I normally care for, but it's still wearable. I'm currently in search of a link for the watch band (funny enough, the support link to Citizen under support lets me identify the watch), hopefully I can find one, but I will replace it if I need, either for a leather, Nato, or Zulu diver strap. Nice piece to my collection. Very good looking. Have a casual style with a luxury accent. It will become one of my daily wear. Good weight and the band feels very solid and doesnt have the hollow sound that my other citizen have. Recomend 100%

My husband is a big man. Big wrists, I tried a couple of times to buy a watch for him. Always sent back because it was too small. I decided to try again for our 20th anniversary. I spent some time looking and reading reviews. I was about to give up when I came upon this citizens watch. Alot of customer reviews were watch band was too big. Hmm, I thought, and bought it. I gave it to my husband, and I held my breath. He took it out of bax and admired it. Great looking watch, elegant, stylish, not too heavy and he loved the blue face. I like the way this way this watch looks. I've received lots of compliments from people on casual observation. Seems like everyone is wearing a smart watch, and I have one too. Just my opinion that a conventional watch just looks better. This watch is battery operated. It looks identical to the other Citizen watches that never need charging, but is far less expensive.
