When I tried talking on the headset initially I got some distortion but, I figured out these sound setting for the mic and sound to work without distortion. These setting might be helpful to someone who is struggling with the same issue. This headset had horrible audio leak into the microphone. I used this for PC gaming and everyone in my discord complained that this headset was garbage. Sound quality was good, and comfort was good, so if you don’t care about mic quality, then this is probably a decent headset for you. Edit (3/10/20): If you are wondering why this item doesn’t have many negative reviews, it is because this company violates amazon rules by offering a refund and replacement only if the review is removed. They have emailed me three times attempting to offer me a refund if I remove this review. The email was clearly written by someone who doesn’t understand basic English punctuation or grammar. However, I refuse to remove my review, this headset was awful for PC gaming. Buyer beware of this company’s unethical practices. ... show more

Bought these gamer headphones to replace the others and day two of using them the microphone stopped working and no one can hear my daughter talking. We tried every plug restarting the Xbox and everything. Absolute rip off. I have been bribed to take my review down of update it and I would get a refund via gift card. If I’m gonna get my money back, I want it back to my account not a gift card for more junk! **update*** they emailed again a month later asking me to change my review and offering me a giftcard!! I bought this headset for myself (an adult), for gaming on PS4 and general use on laptop. They work really well and I totally LOVE the rainbow lights. They’re actually more comfortable than some of my expensive wireless headphones. Here are some considerations: 1. The lights only work when USB is plugged in :( You can use any USB port, though, even a charger. :) 2. Although the connection cables are way better than those white Apple garbage ones, they’re still kinda long/bulky, so you’ll have several feet of cord attached to you at all times. It takes some getting used to, but whatever. They seem durable enough and I keep them looped together in the velcro strap they came in, no tangle whatsoever. 3. The little black piece with the on/off mike switch ALSO controls headset volume - if your sound is too low, make sure to turn the small dial up. 4. If you’re playing on PS4, don’t plug the all-black cord into your controller. Just plug the blue cable into it. Also regarding PS4, if you want to hear ALL audio (not just chat), you’ll need to change the Sound/Devices settings on your PS4 - it’s NOT a headset issue! 5. The actual mike piece is slightly bendable, which means you can position it closer to, or away from, your face. At such a cheap price, I was definitely skeptical. The customer photos are super-accurate, though, and the rainbow lights are freakin awesome. Audio is really decent; I listened to a surround sound test on YouTube and was surprised at the quality. 5/5 - would recommend. ... show more

Not gonna lie, bought this headset because by old usb mic was broken and my friends could barely hear me anymore. Bought these because of the good reviews, and I was blown away by how good the sound is. 10x better than the speakers I just bought recently with subwoofer. It comes with a usb cable just for the outside lighting (which looks great), and a 3.5mm splitter for PC to plug into microphone and audio output jack. I luckily had both outlets on the front of my case, but the cord really is long enough you could plug into the back of the computer and still be fine. Overall an amazing product for the price. My son purchased this headset for gaming. We were underwhelmed by the sound quality. For 50mm drivers, it didnt have a very full bass sound. It wasnt totally bad, but I've heard better from similarly priced headsets. Then, after 1 day the LED lights stopped working. The wire had a poor connection in the headset and when it was wiggled we could sometimes get the LEDs to come on, but they wouldn't stay on for long. They are extremely light and seem cheap and poorly constructed. Update: The seller had contacted us a few days after this review was posted. They offered and shipped a replacement for us to try for free (we already received the refund). It has been in use by my son now for a few weeks and he has not had any problems as of yet with the wire connections. The sound quality is the same as before, which is not bad for the price but not as good as a 50 mm driver should sound on the low end. Ultimately they are not bad sound quality for the price. I'm increasing the star rating from 1 to 3 stars because of the Seller's excellent responsiveness and customer service. ... show more
