Easy to assemble and looks great! Really happy with how it turned out. There are two doors with latches and they even have a small magnet that grips a small piece of metal (see photo) in the doorframe to ensure dogs can’t inadvertently escape. Great size for my two small dogs to share.

This is perfect for my Boxer's size. She is medium size dog and wieghs about 50 lbs. She has room to move around and the kennel looks good with the rest of the furniture.

    • A beautiful crate that you can integrate in your interior.

Ridiculously easy to assemble and looks good in the room. It let me reclaim the floor space I had lost to my previous crate. Although I had measured it before buying, I was amazed at just how much space there was on top of it. I got a large for my 9 month old labrador puppy. It fits a 38x26 crib mattress perfectly. That said, at that pricepoint I expected a little more in terms of construction and materials. I wish they had made the panels on the inside a flat piece so that there was no chance for the dog to chew the edges. It hasn't happened yet but it's certainly a risk with how it's designed. As such, I wouldn't recommend this for a dog that isn't fully crate trained or has chewing issues. It's decently sturdy but would not withstand an animal trying to escape as the latch is only attached via six tiny screws. Luckily that's not an issue for us so we'll be keeping it but at $375 I really was hoping for a bit more polish. ... show more

This is more than a crate, it's a piece of furniture. My Buddy loves it and it is his safe space. It isn't solid wood but for a mature gentle dog it will last a long time. I wouldn't recommend this for a crazy puppy or a dog that doesn't like being crated.

UPDATE: my dog was able to pop the wires out of the frame by just pulling on one little piece. The whole “grate” I guess you would call it. 100% not worth the money. When I started putting this together, I realized the gave me an extra top panel. They also did not include all of the screws need to assemble. I contacted the company and they sent me another bag of screws which was nice. However, it still didn’t have all the pieces. It was harder than it had to be to put together. Some of the holes weren’t lined up right or fit the screws. I kinda want a refund, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of taking it apart and lugging it to UPS. Now that it’s together it seems sturdy. My dog is not wild in the crate so hopefully it work for her and as a tv stand, which was the intent. I bet a determined dog could bust out though. ... show more

Let’s start with the answers to the questions we still had before we bought it: * Weathered Gray is the perfect blend of warm and cool tones… it does not look like that bleached oak from the 80’s. It looks beautiful next to our French Oak floors and still coordinates well with our grey cabinets. * The floor of the crate is the same material as the top. And the plastic coated parts go outside the crate to protect your floors from the crate (not sure why the home video had them inside the crate. * The side panels are not reversible, but you can choose at which end to put the end door It is sturdier than I feared. We bought this to replace a folding cloth/mesh crate and it is way more stable and sturdy. For those previous viewers disappointed that your dog chewed on it or broke open the door… that’s a training issue and not a crate issue. I’ve been in the dog fancy for over 20 years and have had chewers and escape artists in the past. Get a metal crate if you have one of those. This is an IDEAL crate for a well mannered dog. That being said, if you feed /water your dog in the crate or if your dog is incontinent, choose a crate that offers a pan.
