  • Sparkly PLA filament prints beautifully
Color: Twinkle-red
This glitter PLA filament prints smoothly and adds a striking sparkle effect to my 3D prints. The semi-transparent material gives a unique finish, and it performs well with consistent diameter and no clogging. I'm very satisfied with the quality and the vibrant colors.

  • Vibrant, Sparkly, and Prints Like a Dream - Perfect for Holiday Prints
Color: Peacock Teal Luster
I had no issues with bed adhesion on my PEI sheet and the consistency was great from start to finish. ZIRO consistently delivers a high-quality product.

  • I am impressed. This stuff prints nice. I am impressed. This stuff prints nice.
Color: Twinkle-red
I am impressed. The roll I got has the best wind I have ever seen. Some rolls are like a coiled spring once you open up the package or have crossovers that prevent printing. This roll goes down evenly. I have been printing heart boxes for my kids Valentines parties are school and this sparkle 3d filament is by far the best looking stuff I have printed with. I may go through the whole roll printing these hearts.I will post more prints later when it finished. Printed at 210c and 215c and both temps seem to work. Sticks nice to the print bed which is PEI with Amazon Basics Glue Stick. I posted my design on GrabCab. Search "Valentine Heart Box" I am printing at 60% size of the STL file which is a great size. I also put Gcode with 10 lids and 10 bottoms for PLA and PETG. Update. I just got the Twinking blue and have had a few jams where it ruined my print. The red printed fantastic. The blue is taking a bit more effort. So far I have had 3 jams in the middle of prints. Same Prusa printer and same exact print with the same settings. Don't know what the differences are for this one. I have cleaned out the nozzle several times to make sure none of the glitter is stuck. Still amazing looking just a little worried not that maybe I got lucky on the first roll. I bought two reds and one blue and almost finished one entire red roll already and have a blue. The blue has been much more of a problem. Don't know why. When it goes to print fine detail it fails badly and as I said has a tendency to clogged my tip. The red has not have any problems and prints like normal PLA so far. ... show more

  • Really good PLA... Really good PLA...
Color: Straw
**Soda can added for scale** I have previously used Ziro silk gold & silk silver filament (they are GORGEOUS and print great). My previous bust prints I'd been using Hatchbox granite PLA, which is awesome, but about $30/roll normally. So I was looking to find a less expensive, but still quality alternative. This is one of two "stone" options I am trying. I printed a filament swatch as soon as I opened the package...it printed well but it did have some minor issues with adhesion to the PEI plate I use. A small piece of blue tape solved the issue. After a successful swatch on the 2nd attempt at it, I immediately set out on this 300mm tall Princess Leia bust from Return of the Jedi. 18 hours later and the print looked great. So why the 4 stars instead of 5? Reason 1 is the adhesion issues on the small print. The bust I ended up using a raft (as I do on most larger prints just for a safety net) and I had no issues with that (as expected because rafts are super easy to adhere to the bed, hence the point). Reason 2 is that there is a bit of minor stringing that I haven't seen with other filaments. Nothing major, but I'm used to getting NO stringing. So even a little was noticeable to me. So if you have stringing issues already, you MAY have a bit more with this filament. Obviously, it's just a warning as you can't know until you try, but just something to be mindful of. That's it. I really wish we could give 1/2 stars, as if we could, I would 100% give this a 4.5 star based on my experiences to this point. I know that specialty filaments tend to be a bit "moodier" to print compared to standard PLA. Comparing it to the Hatchbox, this holds up EXTREMELY well, with minor complaints and at 2/3 the cost. If something with the 3rd brand (Eryone) of "stone" filament changes my mind on this rating, I'll update. But I am REALLY happy with this overall. The color (straw in the stone PLA variant) is really gorgeous and adds to the marble-ish look. I'd definitely recommend giving this filament a try as it both prints and adheres to the base well above average. The key metric for good filament is "would I buy this again?" and I have to say without question I would do so. If I had a piece to be displayed for others regularly, I'd probably go Hatchbox still, but for hobbyists looking for stuff to make for display at home...this is more than you would probably ever need in terms of quality. Ziro impressed me greatly with their silk gold & silk silver...and they've done so again with their stone PLA. Setup - FLSUN Super Racer with MicroSwiss Dual Gear Bowden Extruder, MicroSwiss CM2 0.6 Nozzle, Capricorn Bowden Tube, FYSETC PEI build plate. Settings - 180c print temp, 60c bed (these settings worked great for ME and are my normal settings for PLA, your printer, even a FLSUN SR, will likely use different settings, just posting these to give more info to those looking at this filament). ... show more

  • Sparkly, Sorta. Otherwise, good product. Sparkly, Sorta. Otherwise, good product.
Color: Diamond-green
It sparkles, kind of. I would call it a muted sparkle. If you know that going in, it is a 5 star product. I like that it comes on a plastic spool vs cardboard/pressed paper. Prints as good as any other ordinary PLA. Included zip lock bag and desiccant is a nice addition for storage.

  • Cool Filament but loves to clog!!
Color: Cf-black
**UPDATE 12-23-18** I have dropped my rating even lower to one start. This stuff just constantly jams. I have tried .4 and .6 hardened steel nozzles from anywhere from 215-230* and at 40mm/s and it prints GREAT and then randomly jams. If Im lucky enough to hear the bondtech BMG extruder skipping due to a jam I can usually run in, pull the filament, clip off the end that has the trash that wont extrude and reload the filament. If its doing infill then it usually works out. It has done this on EVERY print and at random times. All other settings are dialed in and it prints GREAT until it jams and ruins the print. If I cant trust the filament then its useless to me. I dont know if its just dirty filament or what but Ill have to try another brand at another time and compare. This is my first time printing with carbon fiber but I built my printer for it. Im using a E3D V6 with titanium heatbreak and matterhackers hardened steel nozzles. I found printing at 225 at about 20-25mm/s to be the sweet spot on my Tevo Little Monster delta printer. I had major major clogging issues though. I have had to clean out my heatbreak twice now and found that on the first successful print the filament would star slipping in my extruder and I would quickly pull the fillament, cut off the balled end and put the filament back in and it would go smooth again. It did that twice on a 3 hour print and luckily I was there both times it did it. Its almost like it hits a piece of something in the filament that wont extrude through the hot end and I have to snip it off to continue. Not sure what to say about it though, it looks like grey filament. I havent tested for strength though as the thing I made wont see any stress. Not sure what I was expecting but I may try another brand like carbon-x or something and see what its like before making up my mind on carbon fiber filament. All in all, this isnt that bad of filament but I did have issues but I cant say if its due to the brand or material. ... show more

  • Best "Sparkle" Filament I have Used and NO CLOGS. Consistent Quality After Several Spools Best "Sparkle" Filament I have Used and NO CLOGS. Consistent Quality After Several Spools
Color: Diamond-red
I was a bit skeptical trying this brand at first, but I have to say the folks at Ziro have really got the formula right with their diamond PLA. I think its important to note that I use a 0.6mm nozzle with this diamond PLA, and other sparkle filaments I have used. I tried a couple other brands of sparkle filament and they would print decently for maybe 10% or 20% of the spool before clogging the nozzle, despite the large-ish opening of the 0.6mm nozzle. Not the case with Ziro. I have had no clogs at all after going through at least 5 spools of Ziro diamond PLA, in various colors. The particle size of the glitter specks is very fine, and I have to assume that size is well regulated so no large pieces get in the filament mixture (which is typically what causes clogs in some other brands). I print this with the same slicer settings that I use to print Ziro PLA Pro filament and standard filament from other brands, and it prints great every time. You can expect your prints with this filament to look more or less like the photos shown on the listing, but there is a sparkliness when held under light which the photos don't quite capture. The filament diameter is consistent (measured with calipers), and the bed adhesion is good. This is not a brittle filament like some silk filaments. I have found it to be every bit as strong as standard PLA filament. I'm very pleased with this product and will continue to order more. I have noticed the price has increased a bit in the past several months but I believe it's justified. The price does reflect the quality you should expect from this filament. Pictured are some skull planters and a standard size benchy ... show more
