Description

Zippo’s Matte lighters are one of the most popular lighter finishes as the matte finish gives the lighter a smooth texture, it doesn’t show fingerprints, it doesn't scratch easily, and there are a variety of colors to choose from. The black matte lighter was first introduced into Zippo’s stock line in 1984 and soon after four more colors were introduced; blue, burgundy, green, and grey. In 1985, the Zippo logo was imprinted on the lighter and a border was added. Matte colors and designs continue to improve with time. Each lighter has a bottom stamp signifying the year it was made, is refillable, and is backed by Zippo's famous lifetime guarantee. All windproof lighters are American made in our Bradford, PA factory and come packaged in a gift box.

I bought this lighter last December and it is perfect. I had visited some of my family members for Christmas Eve and they had a cook-out. As I was coming back home, I later realized that I had forgotten my zippo lighter. Now my uncle has it and I thought he could keep it as a small gift from me. I love this one because purple is one of my favorite colors and it works just as well. As a beginner collector of lighters, this makes a fantastic addition. I wouldn't buy a car in this color, or anything else for that matter. But a purple matte Zippo shines out and stands above the rest. It brings back memories of purple haze, a different life, and crazy days. This lighter is great for every day use and for a collection. It won't dissapoint.

I love this little zippo but then again who doesnt love zippos. Anyways its great and has zero issuse just like a zippo should. The case does sometimes get weird marks on it but i don't mind.
