My son has sensory issues with his eyes. Because he was a toddler during the covid shutdowns, we didn't get the chance to have him in swim lessons to teach him how to overcome his issues underwater. When he gets splashed in the face, he screams. We reduced it to being upset and needing a towel, but still he would not put his face under to blow bubbles, or even get his hair wet. Until I handed him this in the bath... Lol and behold, after using this in the bath and for swim lessons for one week, my boy went from terrified of sinking, to being a confident swimmer in the pool. Bought this for my 3.5yo ahead of a vacation. Tried to get him to use it in the pool before we left so that he would be comfortable with it in the ocean, but he just wasn't there yet. However, the fit is great for him and his friends all had fun using it in the pool instead. It seemed to create a good seal for them and do its job. I purchased this for my 4 year old grandson. He had basic swimming skills but was challenged coming up for a breath. With his first use, he swam the length of the pool- about 30 feet! He loves this snorkel mask. His swimming has improved even when he's not wearing it.
