My kid loves going underwater but we had to tie it as much as it could be on her head so no water got in. We thought that the size we thought was the problem and then they broke so we will be returning that pair and getting the same one but smaller. Please don't buy this it is worse than they tell you. The only good side it has to it is that it covers the bottom of your nose so water doesn't get into it but it isn't very water tight either.
