This mask works great. I bought one for myself and my 8 year old daughter before a trip to Panama City, Florida. The fit was perfect...no water ever seeped in when placed properly, which isn't hard to do. All you have to do is breath normally, and I never felt like I was gasping for air. The snorkel seems well placed, and I never had an issue with it taking water. If you dive below the surface, the mechanism closes off just like its supposed to. Never had it fog up like other masks, even though I didn't use any anti-fogger solution. The view is pretty amazing...it's like seeing another world beneath the water. If you just stay on the tourist beach, there's nothing much to see, but we visited shell Island, and these were well worth the price. They would be perfect for a Hawaii trip where there's lots to see underwater. These masks are great. No complaints, and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to snorkel without a hose in their mouths. ... show more

I have a little head-so it is hard to fit face masks for me; they often leak on the sides. I got the small and it is a dream! I love the quick release on the straps, it is a little tricky to get it aligned correctly if you use it to put it on-it is almost easier to just put the whole thing over your head like the old designs. I had some problems with the first mask I ordered from this company (also a V3) and they immediately emailed me and helped me determine if it was a fluke and I should return or if it was something they could remedy. Great customer service, fabulous face mask. FYI-if you are a "diver" I do not think the face masks lend themselves to this (they never have in the past, maybe the technology is changing). However, I think if you want to dive down 3-6 feet to have a closer look, you will need to do the old fashioned eye/nose mask and mouth tube snorkel. ... show more

My husband has Alzheimer’s and struggled with the mask & snorkel I bought him, so I decided to try the full face mask/snorkel combo. We tested it in the pool and he did great! The biggest problem was taking the snorkel off to pack the mask for our cruise. I followed the instructions over and over and couldn’t get it off. I thought I was going to break it! Great for snorkelers of all kinds but especially helpful for those of us with facial hair (FYI...this account is in my wife's name so, no, SuziQ doesn't have facial hair!)! I've always been somewhat claustrophobic so snorkeling has been a challenge. Not with this mask! Comfortable fit, no leaks, even with a large moustache! And great wide vision, not like your basic mask. And the two way snorkel ensures that you are always pulling in fresh air! Will be a game changer for me! This mask makes it a little more difficult to dive due to the increased amount of air inside of it. That said, snorkeling on the surface is basically like having your face in a life jacket… you’re totally buoyant, and it’s incredibly relaxing and provides an amazing view. My partner and I just used these at Devil’s Bay on Virgin Gorda, BVI, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. I would also recommend having flippers and maybe some additional goggles as an alternative for any trip, but for snorkeling, this really is hard to beat. Very rarely leaks too! ... show more

I was surprised how will it worked snorkeling in the open ocean. Just don't free dive to deep Only issue I hand was cave snorkeling in a cave at 72 degrees F. Continued to fog up every few minutes. But my normal mask did as well. Once I used antifog it did better. Two thumbs 👍👍

Ok this is my FIRST Amazon review despite being a very good customer. This mask works. It’s awesome. You will feel relaxed snorkeling. I have been using it in French polynesia and I will NEVER go back to a regular snorkel mask. I didn’t believe it would work so well. Terrific seal, amazing visibility. But it does.
