Let's get to it. Who doesn't want a zip line right? You do cause you're here reading this. I ordered from Amazon for a very simple reason. I wasn't sure how this would go! If I screwed up or it was too hard, Amazon's return policy is pretty awesome so I wouldn't be out $600 (Daddy Insurance). Plus, with the demand for this type of home entertainment in the Corona era, Amazon gave me availability and shipping terms that even the manufacturer couldn't. (I even think the manufacturer site was sold out of this product when I was ordering) This is a complete kit. You need purchase nothing else. What you do need, actually a MUST HAVE is lots of man/woman power and a tension kit. You CANNOT install this without those two. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I bought a tension winch and cable puller for about $50 in total and it was the best 50 bucks I ever spent. I'll never use those two items again, but without them my kids zip line wouldn't be up. The quality of the materials is hard core industrial and it should be. The instructions were clear and step by step, my only gripe is that the instruction book is a one size fits all for all kits, so you get extra information that you don't need. Just hone in on the pages relevant to your kit and all will be well. I found it easier just to look at the diagram and that was the simplest way. Installation was not hard to do or follow, but you will need help and time. I had a team of four, not that you need it, but remember you are climbing trees. Having someone to hold the ladder or hand you a tool you forgot on the ground goes a long way. It is a full 8 hour project, from layout, positioning the tree slings, safety cables, turn buckles and tensioning. And remember you have to do that twice, once on each end. Then you have to do the braking system and final tension with the turnbuckles. Again, not at all hard, but time consuming and precise. You better figure out the angle of slope first before you tension that wire or God help you, you'll have to de-tension one end to move the cable. Again, not hard, but time consuming. (have extra beer on hand for the help) Get the repetition here? That's how I felt walking 127 feet back and forth all day to get this right. But you will get it right, and then the screaming will start. Naturally the first screams will be yours as you test it before letting the kids get on it. The rest will be a non stop interval of safe and clean fun at home while you are the envy of the neighborhood and most importantly of all, Dad the hero who put up a zipline. PS: The only reason any one was on their phones was to record each rider. Otherwise it was exercise for all, climbing, running back and forth between trees, jumping up and down, overcoming fears and building confidence. Not disappointed at all. Pleasantly surprised. My kids and grand-kids are going to be using this thing, so I do very much appreciate the quality. Everything that I needed to put it together. Clear directions. I have no qualms about letting the kids ride this thing. I can not see any part that might have a catastrophic failure. Safety back-ups. It took us about 3 hours to install and was pretty simple. The instructions are very good and easy to follow. We did the 6+% grade and it's really fast! We added the spring brake for a more exciting ride... my grandsons (5 & 8 years old) play on it everyday! A QUALITY product and great value,
