DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!! Would rate this product 0 stars, if possible. It is the worst piece of junk, had to return for refund. The turn crank gears were very loud, the attachment didn't fit, and it's just overall a piece of crap. Very cheaply made. Took the return to UPS store the day after receiving, and Amazon thankfully issued us a refund immediately thereafter.

It’s very hard to control and hold onto, the crank does not turn easily and the grass seed falls out all over. Maybe a man can work it easier then a woman.

This wearable seed spreader is quite comfortable to wear and handle when you are out spreading seeds on your lawn. It is easy to use, it works well, its functional and the size is perfect. The instruction visuals were hard to see the details. When you are assembling yours, take your time and look at the graphics on the box rather then the flier, easier to see the images. This seed spreader took me about 15 minutes to assemble, but that was partly because the images are so hard to tell what connects into what. I was finding it hard to figure out what piece went where, the instructions could do with a complete overhaul. The build quality of this spreader looks OK, it is easy to control the flow of seeds coming out of it, you simply adjust the sliding the bar on the side. The fabric bag that holds the seeds is strong and looks durable with a big zipper to keep it all together. This seed spreader looks like good value however only time will tell if it can go the distance.
