Great Frames. We actually have several 3 and one we’ve had for 2 years without issue. They are strong and sturdy with my partner and I being over 500Lb combined. It has amazing storage and you can put many tubs/items underneath. It is a little high, so you want to consider that if it’s difficult for you to get in and out of your bed. You don’t need box springs, just a mattress with this frame, so you need to add the height of the frame and the height of your mattress to know how tall your bed will be with this frame. I also sometimes stub my toes on one of the legs but, with practice, I’ve gotten really good at avoiding them. In conclusion, if you want a simple, very sturdy frame, with tons of storage underneath, and you have no difficulty with the mobility (ie-it’s not too high for you) then this could be the frame for you. Pleasantly surprised how durable and sturdy it is made. It was very easy to put together (I do put together furniture a lot). I like that it came with a socket wrench and an Allen wrench. I have carpal tunnel and the socket wrench was perfect for me. I used it to butt up against a twin daybed so I could make it into a slightly smaller than king size bed for adult guests. Worked great. Used a twin mattress and then put a foam mattress topper to ensure they didn’t feel any gap between the two beds. I like that it is easy to put together and take down. First off I purchased the “Like new - used version” of this product for $73. Most of the parts came with the box, but one of the support slabs was missing a plastic bracket (not a big deal since I rigged it to be sturdy). Putting the 16 inch frame together was incredibly simple and they even provide a ratchet wrench with an appropriate sized handle to prevent over tightening bolts. I put mine together using threadlock and after the threadlock dried the bed feels incredibly sturdy. Props to the designer, the product is easy to assemble, simple packaging and overall makes sense. My first gripe is they dont include any spares of bolts or plastic brackets if anything is missing. My last gripe is the sleezy arbitration letter. They claim that when you purchase the product( literally the day your order is submitted) that you have 30 days to out of sueing them through normal methods. It’s pretty funny since their listing shows nothing about this and what if a paper was never in the box? What if you never read that paper? It’s obviously a sleezy move and wouldn’t hold any water with a judge. This stuff needs to be conspicuously disclosed. I took a star off for whatever corporate clown woke up with such a stupid idea. Otherwise the product itself seems fantastic. If you look at the other reviews you can see some people have issues with the bed and I bet 90% of them didn’t assemble it correctly and probably stripped out the threads of the frame. ... show more

The frame went together easily and it is sturdy. However, there are double stick tapes attached to the cross bars to keep the box spring from sliding around. When I went to pull the tab on the tape, all but 2 came completely off and now the box spring slides around. I am going to try to put a rug gripper under the box spring to see if that will hold it. ... show more

I've been using this for a year and a half and it's held up really well. The only complaints I have are that I've had to tighten the bolts on it more than once, it squeaks whenever I move, and the two side legs are starting to bend a little bit.
