After 3-4 sessions with my slam piece this thing has held up well. I’m 6’2 220 pounds and I’ve destroyed every bed I’ve had in the past. I’m honestly testing this things durability at this point and it’s rock solid Update: I moved apartments and had to take it apart and put it back together, now it squeaks every time I move an inch. Love this bed for the price. such great quality and so pretty! I only wish the headboard was up a little higher but if you read the description & measurements you can see how tall it is. It really is beautiful!

I have a full-size bed and purchased a Queen frame, which is why it looks like it doesn't fit (I have a new Queen bed on the way) The box was super heavy, I weigh 110 lbs and luckily the delivery person pulled it up my stairwell for me, all I had to do was slide it around. It took me about an hour to assemble, It wasn't too hard doing it myself, I used those yoga blocks to help elevate some of the frames while screwing it in, which made it much easier. Overall seems pretty sturdy, the wood is real and again, sturdy. All of the tools were included, which I was a relief, overall looks great! ... show more

I wanted to like this bed, the wood is great and it's well-built. But there are serious problems with the dimensions. I advise any purchaser to check dimensions VERY carefully against your mattress. I have a 12" memory foam mattress that doesn't fit under the headboard and was overhanging 3 inches on the foot. We partially solved this by raising the headboard up so the mattress fits underneath, but now the headboard is only being supported by one screw on each side and it doesn't look like it was designed this way. So we're concerned about whether this will last. Additionally, this whole bed is about 0.5 inches undersized for a standard King mattress which spoils the lines of the bed. ... show more

Great value, easy to set up. The allen wrench included is helpful because of the ratchet feature. It comes with plenty of spare bolts and washer and the instructions are super straight forward. The only downsides I could see affecting anyone would be the box that it comes in is huge, so if you live in a complex it might be difficult to receive. Also measure your bed because not all beds are made equal. We got a king and, like some other reviews, it doesn't fit totally flush. We're talking an inch or two max. Once you have the sheets and covers on you can't tell. All in all worth the price, the payment plan option is nice, and from pulling it out of the box to putting sheets on the mattress I think it took a total of 30 minutes. ... show more

First, I love the color. It’s brown but has no red “mahogany” tint/color. Second, the height is comparable to my box spring/rails set up. I’m pretty happy. It’s a good value for the money spent. Most furniture store beds are too bulky for my taste. However, my husband is built like a linebacker. I saw in one review that the middle of the bed cracked on the seam lines, and I after it was assembled immediately saw why. Although the middle lengthwise brace has a center peg, the sides of the bed do not. So I went to the hardware store and for $25 I made two 10 1/2 inch legs for each side and used corner braces to secure them. (See pic) I will paint them brownish black like the original feet. Things like this do not bother me. It is something to consider, however, if adjustments bother you. ... show more

Even though I wound up having to return this because some things were missing and it couldn't house the adjustable base I have, it was a very high quality bed, high quality parts, amazing high quality wood bed, and it would have looked great in my room if I could have put it together all the way.
