*disclaimer* I live in an apartment, if you do too, you've found the right review! Lemme start by saying, my S.O. and I had our mattress on the floor for the first 3 weeks of moving in to our new place. This meant our brand new sheets, comforter, and a few throw pillows, often frequented the floor; they all picked up dust, dirt, cat hair, etc., the usual day to day messes of life. Stepped on, slipped on, you name it, it probably happened. If you're in this boat, you know, it can be a little frustrating. I told myself I'd build a box spring, buy a nice bedframe with a headboard, do this right... That was 2.5 weeks after telling myself it would be worth it, looking in local shops for pre built box springs and seeing them for no less than $100, and almost $200 after delivery + taxes. Well, since I'm here I guess you can imagine how that went. With work, trying to make the apartment feel like home, constantly cleaning and trying to maintain a social life, and without really your own front yard to do the whole building thing, the idea just became a faint whisper. It was around this time I also noticed the closets were a bit cluttered too, but I just told myself, "this was apartment living" One night, I decided to come to amazon to see if they sell box springs. To my absolute distrust and hesitation, I clicked through some reviews of this platform bedframe. It seemed pretty promising, but some reviews had a couple issues with broken parts and said it felt uncomfortable. I decided to roll the Amazon dice and purchase the platform bedframe. 3 days rolled by and it came, shipped to my apartment and dropped off with a loud "thud" on the front door. The package was heavy and I guess the delivery guy was frustrated from my place being such a frequent stop for him with heavy packages. "Great..." I said, hoping no damage had occurred. The box was pretty beat up too. I opened it, assembled it (took about 5 minutes of finger tightening wing nuts btw) and plopped the mattress up on it. Thankfully it seemed to survive it's rough journey from the warehouse to my place, I noticed two things immediately: 1.) This was the answer to making the bedroom feel more like a home 2.) There is a ridiculous amount of storage underneath the bed that simply isn't allowed for in closets. I stuffed as many rarely-used items under the bed as I possibly could, which allowed me to straighten up the closets. I even made room to keep the box to the frame in there, just in case the S.O. didn't like it and we had to send it back. She came home and also instantly appreciated the look and feel of the bedroom. Needless to say, we did some investigation to see just how loud and sturdy the bedframe is. It's silent, and unmoving! ;) I threw the box out after 2 nights of sleeping on the bed, confident in my purchase and ready to guide other potential customers with a humongous review on why they should also take the plunge and try it. It seriously is the perfect bedframe for an apartment. You'll be glad you tried it!

Bought this for a very small bedroom in a college rental home. It was so easy to move in our minivan versus a traditional bedframe and boxspring/mattress. Daughter uses a decent mattress in it without a boxspring and is very happy with the support from the metal frame. It unfolded and locked in place in a couple of minutes. Heavy to lug up stairs but in a very old house with narrow stairs and doorways plus right turns, it was SO much easier than a traditional bed. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This seemed well made with enough "slats" to provide support. The fact that others said it was easy to set up was also a plus (and true) since not having to put it together (IKEA trauma haha) was a big selling point. Price was decent and with very little room to spare, the lack of headboard, footboard or sides helped us fit other things into a tiny space.

This is exactly what I needed. I wanted something that I could put up and take down when I need to in order to put a foldable mattress in a spare room for when I have guests. I did not want the bed to be up all of the time because the room is relatively small and I use it as an office. The first time putting it together was a little bit of a challenge for me, but that’s just a me thing. It was very easy to put together and even easier to take down and store with the trifold mattress. It is a very sturdy bed frame .This is a great purchase. If you’re thinking about it definitely do it. It’s space-saving and easy to put up and down.

I have bought a queen and a king size of this and have had both for years. They are collapsible so it made moving from California to Texas very easy. Set up is super straightforward and can’t be messed up. The price is great! Will buy again if the day ever comes when I need a new one!

Sturdy, not too heavy, and pretty easy to assemble. The mattress fits perfectly. I did not give this 5 stars as one of the main support pieces came with one of the arms inverted which effected the cross beams not fitting properly. We had already assembled the whole frame before we noticed the inversion. We were able to get the beams in place but clearly it was not going to function as intended. We got creative & tweaked it and it works without the beams on that side falling out. We have slept on it several times now & no problems. I would have returned it (and bought another one) if I had noticed the inverted piece prior to full assembly. I would buy again as it is sturdy, smooth/no sharp edges, good price and the mattress is nicely supported but I would inspect each piece before assembly.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. We like I glad I order it because the gel mattress with springs shows the bed already in a frame and I could not find if the frame came with it. So I ordered the bed frame just in case. The mattress is very comfortable but we definitely needed the frame. It's amazing to spend 240 dollars on a well made queen mattress and 50 dollars for the frame. It is good quality for that low price. I have a craft matic bed and for the high price it's hard and not nearly as comfortable.

I've had this bed frame for several years now. Its weird to think about the quality of my bed frame. But, I've noticed over the years other frames in the house brake. Also when we moved how inconvenient everyone else's frame was to brake down or move. Plus this bed frame has more space to store stuff underneath.

Best investment of 2025, hands down. Product came to our door on-time. It was packaged really well. No issues, no broken or defective parts, no scratches. It was really easy to put together. My Husband was so impressed with the tool they provided, in fact he put it in his tool box for future use. They did not seem to spare expense when it comes to making this item and they put a lot of thought into the design. It can hold a lot, very sturdy, does not make a sound when on it or doing other physical activities. Wish I bought one sooner. All that for this price, it is a steal!
