Streaming? Purchase it. Why did I take so long to finally write a review? Because I wanted 'real world' usage before giving an opinion. I now own two pedals and they've save me a lot of time in my streams. They live up to the expectations one would have with their brand. They're quiet and only take a few minutes to set up with the provided USB cables. Functionality? They do what you need them to do. Worth it? Absolutely. The ease of programming them is just as simple as any other stream deck key. You can simply switch from scene to scene my tapping one of the three parts of the pedal. Or mute your mic. A very straightforward, simple, easy to use product. It plugs in via USB, and has 3 buttons that can be programmed to perform various actions in ElGato's software. Overall, great for common actions used if you want to have them without needing to reach for your Steam Deck. The quality of it is best of all the pedals I've used. I’m a senior citizen so technology doesn’t come that easily. However I’ve actually got this foot pedal to respond to my script. Reverse, forward and pause or stop. Took a little doing about 30 minutes or so and it works great. I would buy it again. I also have a Elgato Teleprompter and an Elgato cam link 4K, which are also excellent. Highly recommend every Elgato product. The price is a little higher than most foot pedals but you will not be disappointed. All Elgato products are built to prestige and great quality. Super easy to install. Will need to install the Elgato program to be able to program pedals to a Hotkey but is super easy to figure out.
