I recently purchased the Zinus 14-Inch Metal Bedframe for my queen-sized mattress, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. I needed a new bed frame as my old one was springs that were dying. I searched all over the net for a cheap and reliable frame. I got this and put it together in about 10 minutes. I've only been using it just over a month and will update this if needed. So far I'm really impressed. It's very comfortable, quiet and just really nice. As cheap as it is I was and still skeptical about if it'll fall apart on me or collapse. I've seen others post pics of it breaking easily when kids use it. I'm a 44 year old divorced male, I got the twin size since it's just me. There is plenty of space under the bed for boxes or whatever. It doesn't slide around on the floor, the mattress will slide a little but someone here suggested using the headboard attachment and that works beautifully too. Just attach them upside down at the foot of the bed and voila! **update 3-5-20** so it's been almost a year since I purchased this bed frame and thought I'd throw in an update. I still love this bedframe and still no problems whatsoever with it. However......I may need to upgrade to a full size as I've started dating again and a twin size bed won't do for her and I. If I upgrade to a full...I'll be sure to get this companies brand and style. It's so easy to put together, reliable and affordable. I'll likely pass this one to my son when the full size arrives. I'll put another update if there should be any problems with this one and so far I've had no problems at all still. Love it!! Update** 6-17-20: so I got the full size frame last month and have zero regrets. My gf and I have plenty of room to "roll around" on and the new mattress is omg perfect! The twin frame I took down and have under the bed now for "just in case" and the twin mattress put away. I offered the twin frame and mattress to my son but he wants a loft type frame because he likes his bed up high off the ground. ... show more

    • The real scoop.
Size: Full Style: Metal Slats
I had one of these for a twin mattress and it was great, solid and required very little assembly. This one also seems very solid but required a lot of assembly. I am a senior and not especially handy. It took just over an hour. It comes with instructions that are of little help. The online tutorial is also not much help. However you can figure it out pretty easily. The instructions label the parts with the letters of the alphabet. But the parts themselves have no labels on them to connect that with. Note that the two long side pieces can be distinguished from the long center bar because the latter has a thicker leg. I found it better to assemble it upside down until it was time to put in the horizontal slats. I gave these a light tap or two with a hammer to make sure they were firmly in place. There are two longer screws with no instructions of where they go. They go at either end of the long center bar. When everything is assembled, re-check that everything is tight, especially the wing nuts with the little arms that swing down and hook into them . The upside to all this assembly is you can disassemble it to a fairly small package should you need to move your home. I took off one star because it came in an inner box with an outer box that was twice the size of the inner box. There was nothing to stop the inner box sliding around inside the outer box. The first package never reached me because it was damaged in transit. This one arrived with a severely damaged outer box, with the inner box hanging out. I was surprised this one was not damaged. Let’s have someone with a bit of sense packaging these in the future. ... show more
