I searched for hours for an inexpensive, sturdy and easy to assemble platform bed frame to create a sofa look with an extra long twin set up, that could double as an actual bed in my home office. There were many out there, but most of them included in the reviews that the legs were at the corners and were very sharp, causing multiple toe and shin injuries to the owners. After much searching, I found this one. It didn't have that many reviews, but the reviews it had included photos and were good, and the photos showed that the legs were not at the corners, so I took a risk and ordered. It came in less than 48 hours, and as it was reviewed, it was very easy to put together. The instructions were actually helpful, and it came with not only an allen wrench, but also an actual ratchet tool that was super helpful. I am a 50+ year old woman, and I carried this upstairs in the packaging, unboxed it and put it together in about 40 minutes, by myself. Once together, I put a bed skirt with a 14" drop to cover up the sort of "cheap industrial" look of the frame. As shown in the photos, the legs are in a bit from the corners, so the chance of bumping into them in minimal. In fact, no injuries were caused in the assembly of this bed, or in putting the 12" memory foam mattress on the frame or in making the bed. I just put it together and assembled all of the pieces and parts last night, and this is an extra bed, so no one is sleeping on it regularly, but I LOVE the finished product! I don't think I would recommend this bed frame for an adult sleeping on it daily, but it could be ok for a child sleeping on it daily, especially if you want to wait to get a nice bedframe, and it is a transition bed. It would also be good for a college student..even though they might be sleeping on it daily, it would probably not be for longer than a year or two. Anyway, I will update the review if the frame breaks or something, but for right now, I am extremely happy with the purchase. The price was amazing, it was super easy to assemble, and seems to be quite sturdy.

Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Quiet. Comes with sticky strips that go on the frame then stick to the bottom of the mattress so the mattress doesn't move. These work surprisingly well. However, I'd like to add a dust ruffle so the strips will then be keeping the dust ruffle in place vs the mattress, so time will tell if the mattress will slip. There are no short side bumpers to help keep everything in place like my old frame.

I thought I would die when I opened up the box and say all the parts! the the individual bars that fills in made it look more difficult then what it was was.. your main parts you will be working with(as seen in the pic) are the ones that fold together and the 6 rectangles which was very easy to do.. after putting everything together the frame was very sturdy!! I will buy again if I have too!! I’m using this for my daughter who is 5’8 and 184 pounds (maybe a little less)

Just installed it, easy to install, comes with the tools necessary to install. I haven't slept on the bed yet but i can already tell a big difference, the bed is a Lot more stable and even compared to the box springs, definitely worth more than box springs, no squeaks, and cheaper than box springs, it's a win in my books, very happy with the purchase!

Could use better instructions. I like to read mine and the pictures confuse the heck out of me. I had been sleeping with my new king size mattress on the floor for such a long time I forgot how majestic it is to sleep with a bed on a frame 😂 Took me 40 min to assemble by myself. Very happy.

This is a basic platform bed frame that does have the ability to be attached to a head and foot board. It arrived extremely quickly (in 2days) with the free shipping. Shipping was nice to mine and the box arrived intact. The frame didn’t have any defects, it was extremely easy to put together, and good clearance under it for storage. My only partial complaint would be the mattress sliding, however I purchased going into it knowing this is a common issue. I’m just going to put some felt strips around each end to stop the mattress from sliding. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. You can’t beat the price considering i could go into my local Walmart and buy one just like it including same brand for about $50 more!

I like this frame a lot and it seems good and sturdy. BUT it was not as simple to assemble as the video shows. It took about 45 minutes (from box to completion) and involves lots and lots of bolts and a few wing nuts. I loved that in addition to providing an Allen wrench, this bed comes with a mini-ratchet tool. I completed this alone and it was quite manageable.
