This is a great bed frame, for the price. I would have given it five stars for that alone. But, the product goes well over and beyond simple value. The bed comes with adorable signs that tell you where everything is - it's not intuitive, as it all comes "hidden" in the headboard. Everything is labeled clearly and everything you need is included. Including a mini allen key socket wrench that makes screw tightening so easy. The instructions are written in plain English - not weird Google translated gibberish you get a lot with products made in China. Unfortunately, when we opened the box we found immediately that one of the legs was broken. We called Amazon, they gave us a number to call ZINUS, we explained the issue and requested just one leg to replace the broken one, but they said they weren't responsible because the bed was purchased through Amazon. This doesn't make sense to me. We contacted Amazon again, and they are going to replace the whole bed at no cost to us. We are expecting them to pick up the bed today and deliver a new one in a few days. I don't think the leg was broken during shipping, it looks it was broken during manufacturing and they shouldn't have sent it. They need a better quaility control. Update: We finally had our bed replaced, and this time everything was fine. Assembling was very easy, every piece of the bed was inside the zipper compartiment on the back of the headboard. The bed is firm and looks great. I want to thank Amazon for their quick support! I attached a pic of the bed and changed my rating to 5 stars. ... show more

I purchased the Queen size frame in grey. This bed frame was easy to assemble and the package comes with all the tools necessary to use. I love the zipper compartment behind the headboard, I was so mind blown by that! I do believe this is very good quality. After assembling, the frame didn't wiggle or squeak and the slotted boards are sturdy as well and fit very snug, which is a good thing. The side rails and slotted boards have velcro so there isn't any moving around . It's pretty light to move around (of course without the mattress) so it allowed me to position it where it was best. The material covering the headboard, footboard, and side rails is in excellent shape, I did not see any threading pulled out or damage. It looks very neat and the grey is a beautiful dark color. I have a one bedroom apartment with the bedroom being a small size, so the queen fit perfectly and still has enough room to go around. It doesn't sit too low from the ground, the gap is about 6-7 inches under the bed. In total, from the floor to the top portion of footboard, it's around 13 inches (more/less). I placed a 3FT bar stool by the footboard for context in size. After the mattress goes on top, it will probably be at barstool level. (I ordered the Zinus 12 inch gel/foam mattress). Was delivered on time and is heavy. Will require 2+ people to transport. All of parts were cleverly staged in one box using zipper liner on back of headboard. We sorted and took parts in from garage. Directions was straightforward but does require someone that’s good with a screwdriver and has elbow grease cause it will require some torque to help make the frame solid. I don’t recommend using a drill cause screws can strip. As you assemble, don’t tighten screws all the way until all pieces are in place. You will need to adjust to parts as you go with some arm strength.🤪 Simple elegant design with a tufted headboard that is not as cushiony due to its design as a storage compartment but is better than leaning against a metal headboard. We have cats that like under the bed. Side boards create a 6.5 inches opening to crawl under but has a 1ft clearance to bottom of mattress for a 9 & 14 pound cat to lay down or sit up in if needed. Cloth material is well stitched together. King size Frame doesn’t shake. Bought it on 50% off sale. Worth the purchase. Hope this helps ... show more
