My biggest fear when buying a bed on Amazon was that I would end up with a terrible piece of furniture that looked nothing like the description because I couldn’t see it in person first. I was wrong, in this case. Zinus is a brand I had already purchased twice in the past so I felt fairly confident about my choice; I was right! Not only is this bed great looking, it is also extremely sturdy and has very small footprint if compared with some of the upholstered and storage beds out there. To start, overall very nice and happy with the purchase. I was really nervous with the mixed reviews and “spray paint gold” on the feet. Happy to say I have the gray padded head board version with the gold metal feet. I put this together on my own in about 1.5 hours. Very sturdy, no squeeking, great directions. The color is a very nice Walnut. I would have left 5 stars, but this bed frame is just slightly small. I do have an oversized queen mattress so that’s partially my fault. Bed came packaged perfectly; the Styrofoam is even wrapped to reduce mess. Easy directions to follow. Zero damage or missing pieces or parts. Very sturdy. The legs are so gorgeous.
