I've purchased the gold bedframe about 2 months ago (I think) and attached black gauzy material and bee LED lights to it. This bedframe is excellent quality, especially for the price point! My partner said it was easy to put together by himself (how lucky am I??) It is super sturdy and has held up during.... well.... yeah it's held up better than I thought it would. It's a little taller than I was expecting, though. I'm 5'3" and I have to climb into bed a wee bit. It takes up a bit of room, but this is my first 4 post bedframe so I think that's my own perspective. I absolutely love the price, love the look, and love how sturdy it is. ... show more

To start the instructions were really easy as 123. The mini diagrams for each step indicating which portion of the bed you'd be constructing in that step were so useful and a great addition to the visuals that most instructional manuals lack, so I appreciated the thought and simple details that went into what Zinus provides their customers. Next I was so impressed and very thankful for the tools provided such as the rubber mallet and the rachet allen key. In addition to a traditional allen key for dual hardware when setting it up with 2 people. I always wanted a rachet allen key but never got around to purchasing one. But it is truly heaven sent to have in my collection of single lady tools now. As a thoughtful touch Zinus included an appreciation gift of stationary thank you cards for my use. And that little touch in addition to all the other items and details I mentioned above that zinus provided made me know that zinus is the type of company that is invested in its customers and their experience with their products...from the unboxing to the finished product zinus had me in mind and supported me the whole way. The construction is sound and very well manufactured. The additional sound proof strips eliminate any creaking that metal frames typically suffer from. The "stay-put" tape on alternating slates secure the mattress and keeps it in place. The PRICE is a paradox to this quality and attention to detail. I would have never expected this level of craftsmanship, thoughtfulness, and overall quality to be available at such a affordable price tag. You can't be disappointed in such a 5 star product with such a affordable price tag. It was definitely a surprise that I appreciate completely. My husband and I LOVE our new bed! It seems very sturdy. He’s 240lbs and I’m 150lbs and even when it starts a rockin’ it holds up well. You can use it with or without a box spring which I like. We use our box spring and it looks great and it doesn’t slide around. My husband just gets a kick out of seeing me leap up onto the tall bed like a little kid. I’m 5’4” so it might be hard to get up onto it with the box spring if you’re smaller or have mobility issues. I used 3 sheer curtains along with two strands of the tiny wire curtain lights that have 8 settings and our bed looks fabulous. The instructions were pretty simple to follow once you figure out their rhyme & reason but it did take us a second to decipher. We put it together in less than 30 minutes and we had so much fun doing it! It took me WAY longer to figure out how to DECORATE the canopy than it did to put the bed together. It’s very good quality for the price. I’m even loving the little rubber mallet they give you to tap the pieces into place. I used the mallet to pound in some anchors into the walls and it worked like a charm. Anchors always break in our walls when we use a regular hammer but not with the rubber mallet! It’s an added bonus that I’ll probably use for other things. The box is super heavy so you need two people to carry it but I was happy about that because it meant that the bed would most likely be sturdy. I’m so pleased with the outcome. I was able to purchase our new bed and decorate our canopy with the fabrics and the lighting for about $200 total. My husband loves it too despite him being such a manly man. I think his exact words were “ooh our own private honeymoon suite!” Which was cute since we’ve been married for 26 years. Both of us think it is a great product for the price and it was really fast shipping! We’ll have lots of fun for years to come in our new bed!!!! ... show more

    • Love love love it even if it's a twin for an adult!

I am an adult stuck with a twin bed but I finally gave in to fulfilling my lifelong dream of having a canopy bed. The reason this one struck out to me was because of its weight limit. I'm a heavy girl and I wanted a sturdy bed that would last. I just received this bed an hour ago, built it alone, and dressed it and it's absolutely perfect. This company will send you everything you need, including a good quality rubber mallet and ratchet which I love so much because it made putting it together a breeze! It does not feel loose and it doesn't squeak when moving on my mattress. I promise I will seek this company out for when I have a chance to have a Queen bed but for now I highly recommend the twin for adults! ... show more
