The bed frame is not too hard to assemble, but probably took an hour or so. I find it's a bit too long and the top and bottom of the mattress dip down into the voids of the frame which is not ideal. The "slats" are very skinny, so there's no purchase at the ends. Overall, it seems sturdy enough and it has enough space underneath for storage, so that's nice. It's OK, but just OK.
