Bought this to replace an old styrofoam bead neck pillow, and just by testing it out when it arrived, I know I’m going to be very happy with it. The port cap has two stacked covers - the top one is opened to inflate the pillow and adjust the inflation level, the bottom one opens the port completely for almost instant deflation. Couldn’t be easier. Fully inflated, the sides are taller than I’m accustomed to, but still comfortable. Love the thinner section at the back of the neck - supportive without pushing your head forward. There are three secure snaps at the neck closure to adjust the size if you use the strap. From prior experience with this brand, I expect this pillow to last a long time. Definitely worth the price because it delivers the comfort I’m looking for. UPDATE: used the pillow today. It’s a bit noisy when you’re blowing it up and getting comfortable, but once you’re settled, it’s quiet. The back of the neck is pretty narrow, but shifting the back up behind your head will keep your head propped up when reclining, and the sides still prevent your head from drooping side to side. So comfortable. Easy to inflate. Small ish. Not as small or light as the ultralight. But man is it comfy. I was hoping I could inflate it to a low pressure and sit on it but I don't think it's tough enough for that.

Got this for some international travel and very glad I did. I, like others, experienced some deflation on one of my flights but realized later it may have been because I inflated it before we got to altitude. On all other flights, including after the time it deflated, I had no problems so long as I waited to inflate at altitude. I saw this pillow originally in an REI store and was intrigued, and I bought it here on Amazon at a much less expensive price. It is compact and comes in its own small travel case, and during the times I have used it, I never had any trouble deflating it in order to re-pack it into its case. In fact, it was so very easy. The pillow itself is soft and was easily inflatable. In fact, the stem area where you inflate it has two options: one which keeps the air you blow into it trapped inside as you take your next breath; and two, you can easily remove this “filter” which keeps the air in so that you can easily deflate the pillow when it is time to put it away. The pillow has a snap with 3 options so that you can keep it around your neck, which was really handy. Also, I found the pillow to be versatile, in that I could adjust the amount of air within it easily and then adjust the pillow in different ways around my neck depending on the support I needed when trying to rest while traveling. This travel pillow is super comfortable. It fits around my neck well with adjustable snaps, and the material is so very soft. I love that it is also super lightweight and deflates to take up a very little space for storage after arriving at my destination or going between airports. I recently took this pillow from the US to Tokyo, Phuket, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Singapore. On and off planes, in and out of airports....this was the perfect travel pillow to have, not to mention allowed me to sleep well on a 12 hour flight! The only issue I had was the zipper on the storage bag broke. :( However, this pillow is well worth the investment.
