  • Good for the value
Color: Black Size: Full Style: Standard with Headbaord
I needed a metal bed frame that was strong and sturdy. This fits the bill. It took me about 3 hrs to put together and the instructions are pretty easy to understand. It recommends two people but im a small woman and I did it by myself. All the hardware was included and nothing was damaged. The box was VERY heavy so you might need help getting it in the room. It's very sturdy and looks nice and sleek. I wish the headboard was taller but I placed my box spring on the frame so I guess that's my fault. There's also a lot of room uber the bed for storage. My cat lives going under there and sleeping. Highly recommend for a low budget but nice and reliable bed frame. ... show more

  • Semi-Confusing Instructions, But Good Quality Overall
Color: Black Size: Queen Style: Standard with Headbaord
We had a larger bed frame with massive posts that we would hit our hips on. It was a hand-me-down from my family and it made me want to explode every time I hit my hip on it. We wanted something simpler, more sleek, but still sturdy - and this fits all of those bills. The instructions are incredibly easy to read and recognize; the pictures inside of the instructions are high-quality so it's easy to tell which way pieces need to go. One thing I will say is be careful with directions of them - I got them wrong a few times but it was my own fault. The bolts are a bit badly labeled and the letters do not line up where they should, so it seems like they're labeled differently. You may wind up using the wrong bolts, so keep that in mind because I made that mistake. The bed does also creak a bit but I can probably fix that with some WD-40. I have back issues, and it's easy to get in and out of this bed. It's low to the ground but more like a chair height, and not low enough to where I have to push myself UP out of bed and I can just sort of stand up out of bed. This is very good for disabilities. I weigh around ~250 lbs. and my fiancé weighs around ~160-180. The frame supports both of us and our mattress well; we have a Queen. ... show more

  • Very sturdy but ...
Color: Black Size: Full Style: Modern
The metal frame is very sturdy and all parts were easy to secure together. The headboard is a nice fabric covering with some foam inside. What isnt great is if you have a spring or hybrid mattress with small coils as I do. Some of the springs can end up not supported at all by slats of wood that are a few inches apart. While the wood slats do hold the weight of the mattress, it allows some springs to not be supported at all. In time, this could cause those springs to poke through the mattress bottom or become misaligned. Because of this, I suggest this frame isnt well supporting hybrid mattresses as it should. More wood slats, closer together or just wider slats would solve this. The 3" or so between the slats is too much. Also the 2 non-slide tapes placed on the top of two of the slats does work really well to keep the mattress affixed. But to move the mattress for rotation or flipping, you will need to pull it straight up with a good deal of force to dettach it. If you do this more than a couple of times, The tape will lose its effectiveness. Just dont peel the top of the tape shield off unless you really need your mattress to be stuck to the frame. The two wood slats that have the tape on them can become dettached from the velcro on the frame if you pull up on the tape. The velcro on the frame helps hold the slats in place and also keeps it quiet when sleepers toss and turn. You might need to realign these slats every few months though as the slats could become worn and move small amounts. The 14" height of this frame does give a full 12" of space to keep things under the bed or just to help keep it cleaner without having to remove the mattress. Also this frame height is great when combined with a 10 or 12 inch mattress so you dont have as much trouble getting into or out of bed. I do wish this frame had some simple little tabs that could be placed on the sides of the frame to help keep the mattress in place. Since the mattress lays on top of the frame instead of recessing a bit into it, it can move around on the frame. The included tape helps but small tabs either built-in or screwed to the frame would have helped. Overall, I like this bedframe. It was affordable but is built quite sturdy. Its main flaw is the distance between the wood slats is too big. ... show more

  • Nice simple budget frame, easy to assemble, feels sturdy.
Color: Black Size: Queen Style: Standard
Bought this Queen frame for guest bedroom. Package arrived quickly, while the box was a bit beat up, everything was securely packed and all the pieces inside were securely wrapped. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, all the pieces are numbered so assembly is pretty simple if you read the directions. The frame comes with a small ratchet tool to make it easy to secure and tighten all of the bolts. All the holes lined up correctly, all the correct pieces and hardware arrived and the pieces all fit together securely. Took me about an hour to assemble by myself, taking the time to lay out the pieces, read the instructions in advance and taking my time. The metal bed rails feel strong and secure. They have a nice metal finish with no imperfections. The bed slats that support the mattress come connected by a piece of cloth and you roll the whole thing out on the frame and secure with velcro. Would have preferred that the slats be a bit heftier and attach more securely than with velcro but you get what you pay for. The frame looks nice, the quality and finish of the materials is good, no complaints there. The frame feels secure and stable. The mattress fits perfectly. As it is for a guest room, we have not used the bed yet so cannot comment on noise etc. Based on everything so far, I expect that it will be fine. Very happy with our purchase, didnt want to spend a ton of money on guest bedroom for a bed that will not get a ton of regular use and this frame was a great option ... show more
