As a bonus, I'll share how to make it the most efficient storage for any bedroom, *especially* a tiny studio apartment. Go to The Container Store, and purchase some "White Rolling Plastic Storage Totes" (also available in Black). The 10-inch-high full-size bedframe can take four 25-qt (SKU#: 10071416) AND four 19-qt (SKU#: 10071415). The queen-size bedframe can take EIGHT of the 25-qt (SKU#: 10071416). Place the lids on the floor under the bins/under the bed, and the wheeled bins roll out like perfectly-fitting drawers. You can replace dresser/chest-of-drawers for two people with the bins acting as drawers under the bed and taking up no additional room space! These products should be sold together as a bundle. When you are ready to move, just put the lids on the bins and voila! You're instantly packed! ... show more

We've had the King-size bed frame for three months. It's used by two average weight adults with a Tuft & Needle mattress on top. In three short months, the two support bars in the middle have completely bent and no longer support the bed in the middle. Sure, we have fun in bed - but it's not like we're monkeys. I've sent two support requests to the manufacturer, and no word back. Based on the quality of the product, the poor customer service, and the false warranty, I can't recommend this bed at all. I bought this and it came missing a piece. I contacted Amazon and was told there was nothing they could do other than have me return it. So I’ve been trying. It has been scheduled to be picked up 3 times now (for a defective and useless item that is extremely heavy, bulky, and for which I can’t get all the actual pieces back in the box and closed anyway), yet no one has come to pick it up as scheduled. Pretty bummed about this one. The main Crossbeam for the foot of the bed was heavily damaged on arrival. The packaging wasn't damaged at all, which means it left the factory like this. Can't recommend this product with this lack of quality.

Easy to put together and very sturdy. I love having the extra storage space under it. One customization that I made, because I have a foam mattress (vacuum packed, shipped to home mattress), I replaced the slats with 3/4 inch plywood. I had to cut down the plywood down to size to work, but it provides the needed platform for the mattress. (a recommended upgrade for any bed frame really). ... show more

This is my third bed from this manufacturer in less than a year. The first 2 of a different model promptly broke. This one lasted the longest, a whole 5 months before the frame snapped off at the weld and was irreparable. I am a relatively calm person, there's been no children jumping on this bed, I don't "flop" down on it. It has been used as a normal adult bed would and cannot withstand. Seems to be the case with this manufacturer in general. When I attempted to contact the manufacturer, for the 3rd time, there was no answer, no returned call and no response to email. Thankfully, AMAZON's amazing customer service replaced/refunded me for my trouble. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! this bed WILL break. ... show more

    • Huge amount of storage; some additional after-market reinforcement is a good idea.

The best feature is the amount of storage you gain underneath the bed (it’s quite remarkable all I’ve managed to store under there) — which is a huge benefit to me in this tiny studio apartment I keep near where I work. An extra slat would be nice on this queen size model to keep the gaps between slats to the recommended 3”, but it hasn’t seemed to affect my mattress (a Nectar) as of yet. The metal structure seems it could be a little more robust, but I suppose that is a factor of the pricing. I would pay special attention to the legs under the center support bar — with no horizontal bracing between them, and a single screw holding a not very sturdy joint, it looks like it will be really easy to bend or break off those legs — especially if you try dragging the bed or knock the legs out with something heavy you are storing under the bed. I braced mine at the bottom (since the very significant slope of the floor in my studio — 4.5” just on the diagonal of the the queen frame! — in a very old and crooked building, I had to build a level platform under the bed). If I was assembling it in a normal room, I’d definitely get some sheet metal screws and a bunch of metal angle and corner brackets from a home improvement store to reinforce the whole thing ... especially if you are a bigger person or couple who occasionally get a little frisky. ... show more
