Let me tell you I LOVE this bed! It is tall enough to have space under. The fabric on the headboard is soft and cushiony to lean against. I love how my bed sit on top of the frame. I saw some reviews that said the instructions may have been hard to understand but it was perfect. Took about an hour to assemble with the help of one other person. The bed is very stable on carpet and doesn’t shake or squeak. The quality of the wood looks like it is a $2000 bed for a fraction of the price. It looks high end and grown up! Took a chance on this because there was only one review when I bought it. It was everything that I wanted in a bed frame. The packaging was amazing. They had cardboard slats around the perimeter of the box. There was only one little scratch on one piece of wood but it was in a spot that would be impossible to notice. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. Assembly took about an hour and a half, a bit longer because we used loctite to reduce any loosening of the screws. First time buying a Zinus bed - weirdly seems like this bed has no reviews even though the others have thousands, I'm guessing this is new? If so, it makes sense - the bed is great once assembled, but a handful of steps and packaging are confusing even for someone who has built dozens of pieces of furniture in the past. Some steps could use some updates in their instruction picture for sure. That being said, its intuitive enough and quick to assemble with the provided tools. I think it took me about 90 minutes? The combination of natural bamboo with the upholstered wingback headboard gives the bed a warm, contemporary appearance that blends elements of mid-century modern and modern farmhouse styles.
