HERE IS ONE OF THE MOST IN DETAIL BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEWS YOU WILL READ. I'm a 16 y/o girl who bought this mattress for my room makeover. The price is totally unbeatable and I thought well, I'll just go for it. Here's my full breakdown and opinion on anything you could worry about for a mattress: THE COMFORT LEVEL: 10/10 I may be 16 years old, but I have bad scoliosis that affects my whole body. So I still get knee pain, all that fun stuff. Before I had opened the box and set up this mattress, I had also gotten into a bad car accident that hurt my lower back even more to the point I couldn't walk. At this point in my life, comfort is my holy grail. As a growing teenager, I needed to count on something that I could also sleep on for 12 hours and wake up feeling like I could take on the world! And this my friends, THIS is it! The comfort is amazing. My back doesn't hurt at all when sleeping on it to this day, even compared to my previous expensive serta mattress. I know a lot of people worry about it sinking over time. I weigh 105lbs but there are absolutely no signs of sinking no matter how long I lay on this bed. Also, it isn't super squishy. The perfect amount of plush with a hint of firm so you aren't sinking to the pits of memory foam. THE SIZE: 10/10 When I cracked this baby open, it immediately popped up. I didn't even wait the full 24 hours before laying on it because it immediately grew to it size! I even measured the corners! HECK YEA! CLEANING IT: 9/10 Don't know what the fake zipper is about on this mattress, but this baby is so easy to clean. MY SISTER POURED CRANBERRY JUICE ALL OVER MY MATTRESS! And as I was cursing her out and shaking my fists to the heavens asking "Why me!", sad that my brand new mattress could potentially be soiled forever, it was all okay after I grabbed some odoban!! I cleaned that sucker to the gods and now there is not a single stain!! Make sure you dab people and HARD! You can even rub it, it'll come out. And then I did what a smart human would do, put a mattress cover on. THINGS THAT BOTHERED ME: 1. I don't know if it is just me but....PREPARE FOR THE SMELL! It doesn't smell like green tea nooooo definitely not sis. This smells exotic. Not my favorite smell it was definitely a strange smell that I can't even identify. BUT THAT SMELT WEIRD! And I'll be honest...it took 3 weeks for me to not smell it. It was such a strong smell that I just made my bed and didn't sleep on it for a while. It made my sheets smell too at one point. Then I got used to the smell and just decided to kick it in my bed because I was tired of sleeping on the couch as soon as the smell died down. But by the next month, I no longer smelt it. I'll list below how I managed to get rid of the smell. BUT! If you are patient like me and are willing to pull through because it is a TOTAL pain in the butt to send a mattress back, then don't fret! It does go away and you will love the mattress after! Its been 3 months that I've had it and I've had multiple people do a smell test, the smell has vanished. I still think the mattress is worth it! HOW TO REMOVE THE SMELL: -Don't use too much febreeze. It'll be a temporary assistant, but honey it isn't worth it to drench the bed in more chemicals making the bed come up with more of a foreign smell. -I put scent soaking rocks in my room. You can buy these at home depot, they take away any weird scents. You can also purchase a air cleansing machine, NOT a dehumidifier. I don't know exactly what these things are called but my boss has one and they work great. You can get these for cheap at walmart. -Air fresheners for the car. A canned air freshener will definitely get rid of the smell but they are very strong. I just got some plain smelling glade air fresheners and put them under my mattress. This made my mattress smell like fresh linen by the second day. -Wait that sucker out! It's not too bad! 2. The heat, at first My mom just looooooooves to keep our house at 69 degrees making me a living ice cube. Therefore, I keep my vents closed. But, this bed will get you pretty hot sometimes. It could just be because of my comforter, but I never sweat and sometimes I will wake up sweating on this bed. This isn't an extremely justifiable complaint because it could be any other factor, but rest assured my vents are open fully because I do not want to smell like sweat! OVERALL.....This is a definite cop, not drop! Go ahead and buy this bed. If you are extremely picky, this bed is great to have in a guest room or maybe if you own airbnb's. They're cheap and comfortable and great as long as it air's out. I love my bed so much to a point that I don't wake up for days now!

So after 24 hours of this bed rising in my IKEA Tarva bed frame, I was ready to believe that I would be left with a very sad corner and very lopsided bed. I forced myself to come to terms with it, though, because I had convinced myself that it wouldn't bother me since it was at the foot of my bed. Out of sheer and utter frustration, I tore off the mattress protector just because I hated it. The bed didn't fill the protector so it was just a saggy mess. A couple of days later, I guess I never really noticed that my bed was rising in the part of it that hadn't already (my sad corner of the bed). Today, 20 days later, I can confirm the bed is completely risen in all parts of it! I tested it but slapping the mattress protector on and now it fits like a glove. However, before it even fixed itself, the bed was still very comfortable to sleep on. I get a sore back from mattresses that are either too firm or too soft because I have a pretty curved back arch. I haven't had any back problems whatsoever and I don't wake up in the middle of the night badgered by heat or discomfort. This bed has been great for me and for the price, I really can't ask for much more. I would compare this to the $500 mattress I bought in years prior, and also the $1,000 mattress my best friend bought...ha. Now if I could just get better pillows for my neck. I say: take a chance on it and see how you feel about it. There's a lifetime warranty that comes with it, I believe? so I can't really see where you would go wrong purchasing this. I would just say, if you don't think there's good enough airflow in your room, do as I did and rip off the mattress protector and watch it come to life, then go back and put it on later. Another heads up: like most people have mentioned, let the bed rise while it's in your bed frame to make sure it fits the frame!

Seems like the cover it comes in is too tight for the foam; it expanded a bit uneven, but I can tell it's because the cover is holding it in an awkward shape. The tightness of the cover also causes it to be firmer feeling than I expected. That said, it's still very comfortable, and the mis-shape is only around the edges. I'm a little afraid to take it out of that cover as the layers don't appear to be glued together (could be wrong though), but if I get crazy I may do that and update this review. In the meantime, I'm very happy with the purchase, just wishing that the zipper-case was more elastic so the foam could fully expand and mold to me. UPDATE: Took the cover off, and the corners expanded the rest of the way almost immediately. This is after over a week of being held back those extra few inches, so I'm very impressed. The foam itself is also held together by a very thin, very stretchy, not removable "pouch" for lack of a better word. I put my softer fitted sheet directly over this, and the softness of the mattress has honestly doubled now that it isn't constrained - feels like heaven!!! 😊😴😴😴😉 I do want to add that I'm pretty sure I have voided my warranty by doing that, so I'm not recommending it. However, if the mattress feels a little too stiff to you, it does have much more give in the top layer of foam without the zipper cover it comes in (but it still plenty firm in the lower layers; I have the 8-inch/full on a wood slate/metal frame also by Zinus and it is wonderful) So I've gone ahead and added that last star to my rating 😉

I have had this mattress for almost a week now. I track my sleep with fitbit, I’m currently getting better and longer sleep according to my usual stats. I also have been more active recently and this bed has been helping relieve my aches. I’ve been feeling a lot more refreshed throughout the day. This bed is on the firmer side and I LOVE that. I do like that it hugs your body when you lay in it. This is the most comfortable I’ve felt on a bed in YEARS. I got the 8” mattress. I was originally going to purchase the 10” but I noticed this one was marked down well. It wasn’t too difficult opening and installing. Overall, I’m super pleased with this mattress! I’ll try to update this review again in 6 mo.

I have to preface this by saying I slept on a futon mattress on the floor for over 15years. I finally redid my bedroom and got a loft bed, for storage purposes. I've always wanted a foam mattress and was glad I could afford this one I opened it and mistakenly poked holes in the plastic while I was putting it on the bed, so it immediately started it's process. I didn't even remove the plastic for a while and didn't sleep on it. I measured and it finally reached it's 8 inches. Then I slept on it with the plastic (it's winter here and my room is cold) as I had other things going on and didn't want the mattress to get stuff on it. I finally took the plastic off very carefully splitting it down the middle with a pair of scissors and since it is so light I slid it off in one whole piece. There was an odor for very brief time (hours), it really didn't bother me. The odor probably dissipated because I had air holes in the plastic. I could smell the odor with the plastic on but it didn't permeate the room too badly. Again I let it do what it do. Now as for sleep comfort. It was comfortable the first night even with the plastic on it (I did sweat a little), however, I find that you can easily sleep wrong on this bed. I may have too many pillows, I have to find a happy medium. The first night I only had two goose pillows. I then added my foam pillows after I took the plastic off and that's when my back started hurting, so it may be the pillows and not the bed. I may be sleeping to high on the pillows. I will experiment and update. For now I'm not knocking this mattress. I really like it. We'll see if I can give it one more star. It has earned one more star. It is very comfortable. Don't sleep with too many pillows under you. let the mattress do its work. It does not move when I put a bottle of water on it when I climb(literally) onto the bed.

I got my 8" full mattress in the beginning of 2017 when I was in a pinch after having moved a few states over into a new apartment for school and realized I forgot all about sleeping arrangements. I was dirt poor and needed something cheap. I think I spent like $200 total back then for the mattress and the frame and expected it to be horrible and that I would just throw it out once school was over at the end of 2017. I was pleasantly surprised. I LOVE THIS BED. You would have to pry this bed out of my cold, dead hands in order to take it away from me. It's still firm and comfortable 6 years later. I'm a nurse who works long shifts and I go on big hikes during my off time, and this bed immediately fixes my aches and pains. I'm no longer a bachelor and my wife is content to continue sleeping on this mattress even though she would like something bigger for us and the two cats... but our apartment is small and I would be devastated to get rid of this mattress. Eventually when we get a house and move on to a larger bed, I plan on making this bed our guest bed... but until then, I continue to enjoy sleeping on it every night (and frequently nap in it as well w/ cats).

Get this, it's awesome, it's a great price. I instantly felt my neck and lower back SIGNIFICANTLY ELONGATED, HEAVEN ON MY EARTHLY BED!!! I will never sleep on anything but pressure relieving foam with memory foam layers again. MAKE SURE TO LET IT FORM AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS, 24-48 HOURS. What I did was purchased an awesomely priced full sized clear storage mattress bag from Amazon for $11 (LOVE AMAZON), taped the open edge shut for cleanliness purposes and I packaged my old mattress in it. Then I put a top non wrapping sheet on the wrapped mattress and my blanky on it and slept on it for 2 nights while my new mattress aired out. Easy peasy. BUY THIS WHILE IT'S STILL IN STOCK, IT'S A GREAT PRICE. No offense to whoever wrote the review below, but fiberglass from a mattress? THAT ATTACKED YOUR WHOLE HOUSE??!!! Are you insane? These are made from layered foam, how would fiberglass get into anything!!?? Sheesh, the lengths people will seemingly go through...... ARE YOU TRYING TO STEAL SOMETHING BECAUSE IT SEEMS OBVIOUS!!!! MOST don't believe insane reviews, anyway peeps, get this, follow the instructions, and perhaps you'll too feel your neck and lower back elongated. Get a mattress encasement to prolong the life of your mattress, treat yourself to some awesome new sheets. Bedding can hold bacteria so waterproof encase your mattress including the bottom of it, also waterproof encase your pillows, treat your fine self to new soft love yourself bedding and sleep like gods and goddesses. You're SSOOOO worth it. A good nights sleep is important. This mattress stretches my neck and body so awesomely that I think I may start sleeping without pillows and use them for reading, working. I am now a hardcore fan of the Zinus brand. This is my 4th Green Tea mattress purchase and this time it was for my teen daughter who has always loved my bed. I have even branched into the Zinus furniture as well. Why should you order this bed? You may wonder if the excellent price means your not going to get as great of a bed and believe you need to spend ALOT to get a great bed. NOT with the Zinus Green Tea Infused Memory Foam mattress. I've told literally everyone in my life about this bed because it is EVERYTHING. My quality of sleep and comfort is dramatically improved and at perfection level. It is my hope this bed always remains at this affordable price point because I never want another type of bed ever again! Neither does my daughter. For the adult who has had shoulder injuries or back pain issues this is your dream come true to alleviate. Once I got my bed several years ago I never woke up again with the dull aches.
