    • Great frame for a Lull mattress
I did SO much research before finally getting this frame. We had looked at several of the on-line mattresses -- Lull, Ghostbed, Helix, Purple. It was hard getting information about whether each bed would work on this frame or what frame WOULD work. Mostly generalizations, no specifics so that made it hard to decide. We finally arrived on a Lull Cal King and the people at Lull said they actually recommend this frame to their customers. We got it all set up this last Thursday - it was very easy - and so far so good. No noise, no squeaking. Love the space underneath (and so does our kitty -- it's her new favorite place to hang out :)). Really looking forward to using it for storage. I also got a bed set DUVET COVER Set SAGE CAL-KING - Damask Collection 4-Piece Reversible Damask Stipe that had a bed skirt which will cover up the storage bins. I washed and dried this before I put it on and it got the wrinkles out pretty well -- didn't have to iron. ... show more

Love it! I bought this bed frame in a queen size. My mattress is memory foam so I put down two pieces of plywood to prevent it from sinking through the metal bars. The non slip pads were a bonus. They keep my mattress, plywood, and even my bed skirt in place. So far I have not heard a single noise come from this bed frame and none of the bars have bent. I will update my experience in a few months to let everyone know how it has held up for me. Others have posted about receiving damaged products, I didn't have this issue. It took me maybe 10 minutes to assemble by myself, very simple, no tools required. I don't really care so much for the storage space underneath. Others have made a big deal about it, it's not like you can't fit anything at all under there. I was mainly looking for something sturdy, quiet, and not make me feel like I'm sleeping on the ground.     • Strong, sturdy, and extra safe.
A snap to put together. I did it myself in less than 10 minutes - at a relaxed pace. First night's sleep on it was great. Provides better than usual support - above a regular box spring. Also, the storage space underneath is PERFECT and exactly what I was looking for. The added bonus of the rounded corners at the foot of the bed came in handy as I bumped up against it twice, with no abrasions or anything. Shin just slipped on by! Unexpected extra. The legs being placed in about 6" or so also means no stubbed toes. I noticed. Not that it is a usual occurrence, but hey, once every few months is once too often. I liked it so much I purchased a Queen one for my spare bedroom. Strongly recommended! ... show more

    • Quiet, stable, and easy to set up and move - no complaints!
After researching for hours my wife and I ultimately decided to try this frame. We could not be more satisfied with it! Assembly was extremely fast and easy. Went from boxed up to completely set up within 10 minutes. The two main aspects we were looking for in a bed frame were quietness and stability. There are absolutely NO squeaks on this frame (a huge improvement over our old boxspring), and you can sit right on the edge of the mattress with no tipping issues. We are using this with a California King size Casper mattress (which is only 10" tall) so the 16 inch base here helped it to feel more like a normal height bed. No complaints! It was exactly what we were were hoping it would be, and we saved hundreds of dollars compared to buying an actual BED to place the mattress on. ... show more

    • Some damage in shipping/manufacture
I will soon be relocating from a 5 bedroom house (2,800 sqft) to a 2 bedroom apartment (probably near 1,000 sqft). Current mattress and box springs have no storage space. This looked ideal (Cal King). So, I opened the shipping box so I could get exact under bed dimensions, and then started looking for storage containers that would maximize that space. All of that finally arrived last week, so over the MLK holiday, I set to work (keeping existing mattress for now). So I tipped up the mattress, and removed the box springs and the steel frame, and started to assemble the new one, and this is when I noticed the damage. On the other half of the new frame, one of the diagonal braces (swing up and fasten with a wing nut) was twisted about 45 degrees. Since I had ordered the frame a bit back, I may have been past the return window, and if I returned it, I would have had to put the old frame back together. So using a big crescent wrench, I slowly twisted it back (only as far as I needed, there was still about 5 degrees of twist in it, but I was concerned about the rivet holding at the pivot point). I also had purchased some adjustable 1" risers, as the storage was just a bit too tall, but that turned out not to work well (the legs kept falling off them. But if I do not overstuff the containers, they all fit (24 or them; 3 high, 2 wide under each quarter of the frame) ... show more

    • I am not a small guy and this frame is a great replacement for the antiquated box spring
We had an issue with the bed we purchased being very large and heavy and ended up breaking the box spring on both sides. I am not a small guy and this frame is a great replacement for the antiquated box spring. It is very sturdy and assembly is very very easy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a better solution for their bed plus has room for tons of storage under neath. We also had an issue with the memory foam mattress not breathing well through the box spring which caused some mold issues on the mattress cover which cleaned up but we found that they need to breath and box springs inhibit that so this is the solution we found and it is a great one. ... show more

    • Couldn't believe how fast & easy to assemble this bed frame !
This bed frame was so easy to assemble! Literally it only took about 15 minutes. We've been using it a little over a week and we can tell that difference from our old frame & box spring set up. This is much more supportive & firm and works much better with our foam mattress. We both sleep much better. ... show more
