This product is everything I could ask for in a bed frame. I bought one other frame on Amazon previously that I wasn't too happy with, and I decided to replace it with this. Excellent decision. The assembly is dead easy with very clear instructions and an included ratchet wrench. All of the pieces are extremely beefy, and once assembled this bed is very tight and sturdy. I can't feel any movement in the frame - it feels about as solid as throwing a mattress on the ground. It doesn't make any noise whatsoever either. I like the wood mattress support slats much more than metal ones on other bed frames. They are much wider, so there's more surface area for the mattress to sit, preventing the mattress from sliding. Thanks to the wide wood slats and sticky strips, my mattress hasn't moved an inch since I first put it on the frame. My previous frame had metal slats and my mattress would slide to the side and need to be shoved back every few days. This frame sits a few inches lower than most, but that is perfect for me as I have a very thick 14" mattress, which felt too high up with a standard height frame. With this frame, my bed feels like the perfect height, and there is still just enough room to slide storage bins under the bed. Additionally, the lack of legs on the side edges of the frame make it easier to slide extra bins under the bed, without any compromise to the sturdiness of the frame. I like that there is no headboard on this model, so that I can instead find a headboard I like to add myself later on. My only complaint is that the corner process are a little bit rough, but that is perfectly reasonable for a well priced, extremely functional bed. ... show more

Buy this frame! I put it together myself in about 30 minutes start to finish. The ratchet tool that is included makes it super easy to tighten all the Allen screws without hand pain afterward. The bed is lower than I expected but only because I didn’t pay attention to the dimensions that are clearly stated. 🙄 Every piece is packed and labeled clearly. The hardware pieces are packed efficiently and there’s even a few spare parts which was great when I couldn’t get one screw to thread in correctly. I've moved a few times in the last few years. Okay more than a few times. Have tried a variety of different platform beds. After I found this one and purchased once, I haven't bothered with anything else. Height is just right...not so high that I need a step stool to get into bed with my mattress (what's with people having beds that high? Is it like pickup trucks with the super big tires?). Not too low for the cats to hide under snugly (this is a consideration of supreme importance.) Four legs. Not an entire bar of metal along the floor on either side of the bed like you see on a lot of frames here on Amazon. Did anyone think any of those designs through? Did they try them out? Did they somehow manage not to stub their toes on those bars before getting into bed every single night? I tried them out. My toes remember. Easy to assemble. Sturdy and heavy duty. Unpretentious. Practical. Pre-drilled holes to accommodate an epic vintage headboard you find at Habitat for Humanity (another supremely important consideration). Everything you need, nothing you don't. What we loved is the strength, hight, high enough with just a thick mattress, high enough for under bed storage. Dislike, headboard isn't high enough or removable so you could use alternative comfortable decorative headboard. The price for the quality and easy assembly can't be beat. Love the included tools. This was a very good purchase. Very well made and a great price. Super easy to put together. Comes with an allen wrench and a mini ratchet to make tightening the bolts that much easier. Everything fits together very well. Just moved into a new place and needed a temporary bed until I decide on decor. I bought a memory foam mattress and had it on the floor for a few days and then I thought I’d give this a try. Cannot go wrong with this bed frame. Sturdy metal frame with hard wood slats.
