The bed showed up pretty quickly but I waited to put it together because I took ill. Yesterday, I finally had the strength to put the bed together. It was pretty easy. I will state that the numbers on the parts don’t match some of the info on the instructions. But the pictures are pretty self explanatory so no big issue. The bed isn’t as high off the ground as I thought but again, not a deal breaker. Honestly, my only complaint is that the little ratchet doesn’t work. I thought I just didn’t understand it but after consulting YouTube and the maintenance guy in my complex, it’s confirmed that my tool is broken. Our smallest guest bedroom has a queen bed with a black bookcase headboard attached to a standard mattress frame (boxspring and mattress). Because of the basic mattress frame, we needed to have a bedskirt, and didn't really love the look. We bought this frame to go with the headboard and now it looks more like a complete bed vs just a headboard, and a bit more modern looking, esp without the bedskirt. With both a "regular size" boxspring and mattress on this bed frame, it's 30-31 inches from the floor to the top of the mattress, which is higher than it was with the standard mattress frame, but it actually makes the bed look better. The top of the mattress is now even with the lowest shelf of our bookcase headboard, so if you have a lower headboard, you might only want to use a mattress; you don't need to have a boxspring with this bed frame, we just had one and weren't going to get rid of it. ... show more

Love this bed frame. It’s sturdy and a bit heavy. If you look at the legs, it’s wider and the frame overall is lower to the ground. This adds that modern touch to the bed which I was going for. It’s minimalist and reasonably priced.

Ordered this for a family member who is in a wheelchair. Our previous bed was a designer bed with headboard/footboard and we have a nice mattress but between the height of the bed and the mattress, it was just too high for them to comfortably transition from chair to bed. There was always a need to try and boost up a little higher to get on the bed itself. We replaced our bed with this frame. I was shocked at how compact the box/packaging was. Upon opening the box, not a fraction of space seemed to be wasted in the box. Each metal piece was individually wrapped and labeled with numbers. The hardware packet comes all on a single card covered in plastic. I love the fact that they included an Allen socket wrench, this made tightening the bolts much more efficient. My only confusion was that in the instructions some of the diagrams (which are super useful) are using alphabetical labels not numbers but the picture made it easy enough to match up what was intended. I loved the fact that the slats for the platform are connected like a Jacob's ladder and they are secured in place with velcro that runs along the bottom of the slats and the rails of the frame. The perfect thing about this frame is that it sits at 10" in height. ADA recommendations for height is 20-23". This is just one inch over that but is almost totally in-line with their wheelchair seat. It will take some getting used to not having a headboard and footboard, but I would highly recommend this product for it's construction and ease of assembly. It also arrived very quickly. It's best to assembly with two people but I did it alone and it was not difficult at all. ... show more

I bought the twin 10" bed frame, it came in a box that was easy to handle. Clear instructions. Comes with it's own tools. The metal is strong enough so no need for the center legs which avoids stubbing your toes. Only 8 metal pieces so you assemble 4 corners. Don't tighten down screws until all pieces are connected and sitting on the floor level. Wooden slat cross bars stay in place with preinstalled velcro, they don't slip or pop out. Going through all the things I've bought almost a year ago and leaving reviews for the bigger purchases. This is one of them, and so far I've had no issues with the frame. I bought this specifically for the height and because the slats will keep my cats from tearing up the boxspring cover when they go under the bed. It's sturdy, the slats aren't creaky at all still, was easy to put together, and it's holding up great. I was worried when I ordered it prior to moving after reading a few reviews and the price, but it's exceeded my expectations by miles. Excellent bed frame, especially for the price. I’ve owned two of these bed frames and I loved them both. High quality, easy to use, comfortable without a box frame. Not a lot of room for storage under it due to height but that doesn’t bug me.
