  • About the productThe foam is affected by the temperature. The lower the temperature, the slower the sponge rebounds. It is recommended to unfold and inflate the sleeping mat the night before. Because the packaged mat is compressed into a vacuum state by a machine, it is normal that it takes some time for the sponge to fully rebound when used for the first time.

  • Amazing Sleeping Pad!
Color: Olive-green
First off, make sure the color option you get has a powered pump. If you click through the photos, you can see that some only have valves, while others have a pump in the lower corner. The pump can be annoying if you kick it at night (which you probably will), but other than feeling like a hard piece on the pad, it doesn't hurt and it makes inflating and deflating the pad sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo convenient. Like, you have no idea. Or maybe you do, if you've used passive-filling pads before. The pump came pre-charged, so I was able to test the pad out before camping, and then deflate it and pack it, and then re-inflate it at the campsite, and deflate it again afterwards all without having to charge it. The pad will get pretty firm if you inflate it all the way, so keep an eye on it while it inflates and try to avoid filling it to max. I am about 125 pounds and when the pad is fully inflated it feels okay to lay on while on my back, but I think it would get uncomfortable if I laid on it like that for too long. As a side-sleeper, though, fully inflated it is much too hard. What I ended up doing was inflating it until it looked full (which doesn't take long - maybe twenty seconds?), and then sat on it to confirm the hardness. I couldn't feel the ground at all, so I deflated the pad for a couple seconds, until it had softened to the point that I could almost feel the ground when I sat down. That might seem too soft, but truth be told, once you lay down and your weight is more evenly distributed along the pad, it will be just soft enough to conform to your body. At this setting, it's very comfortable to sleep on as a side-sleeper, and I slept on it over hard, rocky ground without any trouble. I think the trick is to just play around with the inflation levels until you find what works for you. It might sound like a pain, but it doesn't actually take that long. Certainly easier to deal with than a passively inflated mat, I am sure. For the record, the instructions say that filling it 90% full should be comfortable for most. As far as re-rolling and storing the pad is concerned, the pump makes the former task super easy. I set the pump to deflate while pushing the air out of the pad from the opposite end, and it's ready to roll in under a minute. Rolling it once flat is simple, and I like to run the pump one last time as I get to the end of the roll so that it pushes out any remaining air. From there, getting the straps on and sliding it back into the bag is so, so easy. Much easier than putting a tent back in a bag, that's for sure. The roll is fairly compact for what it is, and it's pretty lightweight, too. Probably not something you would lug along on a hiking trip, but if you're camping out of a car, then it's a great option. It's much more convenient to store than one of those accordion folding foam pads, which is what I used previously. Overall, it's convenient, comfortable, and a must-have for casual camping trips. ... show more

  • So comfortable!! But large to store
Color: Green
LOVE. My hips get so sore on blow up mattresses and other pads. This was the most comfortable I've been camping. It's so easy to set up. It was so comfortable. Obviously nothing compares to your bed at home but this is the closest to bed comfort I've ever experienced. Super happy. I was also on my monthly cycle, which usually makes everything so much worse and uncomfortable. Super grateful this thing worked out. I slept well! It is huge though. Its bigger than my tent and sleeping bag combined when rolled tightly up. So storage kinda sucks. But honestly its so worth it to sleep so well camping. ... show more

  • Not small but comfortable
Color: Green
This did it's job. I bought it to make camping comfortable, and it delivered! I bought these for when we go camping with our car, and they worked so much better than any air mattress i have ever used. They were bulky even when deflated so i would not recommend for back packing or when space is super tight, but totally worth the comfort if you have the room. It took up about the same space as a decent air mattress and way less than a traditional foam pad so for comfort packing they are a good size. Just not for back packing. I will say inflation took a little tinkering to figure out. There is only one air hole, but it has two layers. We opened up the valve all the way (you can literally stick your finger in and touch the foam). We did this at first to let it really air out and stretch out for a full day before taking it camping. When intlating it to actually sleep we closed the first layer valve, but let the second layer open. This one has a one way valve to you can blow into it but the air is trapped and can't come back out. This allowed us to blow it full of air and it got super comfortable (make sure to close the valve fully before actually settling in for the night). Then to deflate you have to open the second layer valve, not the first layer. That allows air to travel freely, and the air leaves as you roll the pad up from the other side. Biggest issue is the carrier bags. First trip the handles on the bags for both pads i bought ripped out. I didn't buy the pads for the bags, so I'm not too upset, but still very cheaply made for sure expensive gear. ... show more

  • Absolutely wonderful and comfortable. Self inflate works great!
Color: Khaki With Pink-orange
Absolutely wonderful! All three Grandkids love them. I read a review saying they didn't "self inflate" properly, but I wonder if the person realized you have to pull "both" plugs out to allow the air to go in? Mine (3 of them) inflated perfectly and the Grandkids said they are REALLY comfortable! (they are 8, 11 and 13) The hard part is getting them small again! No worries here! We don't plan to go camping. We use them when the Grandkids come to stay overnight. The living room floor makes a great "sleepover" area. ... show more

  • Best ever
Color: Green
Absolutely the most comfortable I have ever slept while camping! I am a side sleeper with angry hips and I was so perfectly comfortable. It's not light enough for a long backpacking trip but would be worth the weight if you are hunkering down in one spot for a while

  • Never worked right
Color: Blue
I have owned this mattress now for almost a year. The 1st trip I took it on it did not fully inflate within 30 seconds like the add says. The 2nd time I used it I left the valve open for at least 30+mins and it seemed to be ok. I still had to add extra air via blowing as the upper portion just did not inflate as much as the lower. By the 3rd tip it doesn’t hold air and is just garbage. Sad for how costly it was. The 2nd trip when I got it inflated enough it was absolutely exactly what I need to be able to sleep on the ground or the car with my back. But now it is useless and I’m back to looking for options. Also way outside the return window by the 3rd trip so no way to get my money back for something I barely used. ... show more
